I love how honest you are about the setbacks and random intrusive thoughts during a build. Most people on youtube breeze past this stuff like nothing went wrong and it's really discouraging, you know? But you? You remind the rest of us that yeah, making stuff isn't a straight line from points A to B. Thank you for your candor and humor.

As a compressed gas rapidly decompresses, the temperature drops substantially. The vapour puffs you're seeing is the moisture in the air briefly condensing due to the rapid cooling. That's an oversimplification, but it should get the idea across. Also, it's great to see another video from you! Hope to see more soon. :)
@Chris_the_Muso
@Chris_the_Muso 11 ай бұрын
Came here to say this. When you compress a gas it heats up as you push the molecules closer together. The temperature then normalises to ambient temp while it sits in the tank. It follows then, that the temperature will decrease when the pressure is released and this results in cooling. Colder air can not carry as much humidity, so it condenses out as a mist. Why two puffs? I think the high pressure air initially gives a more rapid drop in pressure so we see vapour in the exhausted gas. The rest of the water condenses in the manifold but is blown out a fraction of a second later by the lower pressure exhausting out of the reservoir at a slower rate.

Same here. Idk why anyone would be so cruel. I'm convinced some people have devolved into something I don't want to share the planet with. 😔 Kudos Turnah for wanting to help our wild friends. I'm a bird nerd for sure and love feeding my bird friends. My bird bath is like the community pool this summer with many using it as a great place to hang out and get a cold drink from. Now I just need a self cleaning bird bath. 😂 You could make a fortune @Turnah81 if you invented one but I want first dibs and small royalties for the idea 😅

First time I visited AU I was surprised by all the ibis. Most birds I associated with au from media & other sources were cockatiels, lorikeets, kookaburra, parrots, & the other culprits. Ibis I def associated with places like Egypt. Definitely got the side eye from local picnickers for feeding them, but I was impressed by their seeming intelligence & agility.
