@@AlunoECS For intermediates, I think that rapid is best, because blitz is too fast to learn and grow as a player, and classical is a bit long for most people's schedules. But for tournaments, I do think that classical is probably the best.

At 20:50, after white queen goes f3, why isn't taking the bishop on b5 with black queen the best move? I can see it allows white to develop their other knight with a tempo but I don't see how they could turn that into a bishop's worth of advantage. Am I missing something obvious?

TLDR of first game: Time management; PAWN BREAKS. No pawn breaks meant you had to sac valuable pieces instead of pawns to break into the enemy lines. Making that unbreakable line was a massive blunder when you had no time and the enemy had a way in when you screwed up eventually. Someone needs to (re)watch Levy's time management video.

36:46 what happens if knight takes bishop? if you potentially convince the king to take the knight you put pawn onto a6 and force the queen to back up or he doesnt take knight and you can either adjust your rook or pawn structure accordingly

3:09 there was a simple tactic Qd4 forking rook and knight you could have won this one without playing positionally but as we say if something happens that's for good, just like that if you had played Qd4 it would have ended pretty soon and we maybe wouldn't have gotten this chance of seeing your amazing convertion

The lesson from the second game is that the Queen is better on e7 especially if you plan to castle long, to avoid the pin. Also, you can just move the king to b8 and avoid the pin.

As in the last video, I really think he would benefit from just slightly longer time controls and I don't think upping the time to 15 minutes all of a sudden makes the game ultra competitive like he seems to fear

NL you glance over the opening part of your analysis very often even though you play sub-par moves. If you want to improve your opening game, you should make an effort to see what the best move in the opening was and remember it.

if Qxb5 Qxf7+, Kd8 Qxf8+, Kc7. From there, white can develop the other knight with tempo on the queen, take on g7 and the rook will most likely fall later
