Fairly simple process, but it's nice to see it done properly. I have a slightly different model washer (I think VRT with steam features; this one may be non-steam?), and it was saying SUD5 instead of ND, but has the exact same drain pump setup and filter, with the same front access hatch. Thank you for posting this. I’v had my Samsung washer for probably 10 years. Instruction manuals are a pain. I’ve drained my washer and cleaned the filter without using the little hose every time over the past 10 years. I can’t get the little hose to unscrew at this point but I do appreciate your video vey much!

Nice video.. I just came across this moments after Googled the ND error. Wish I had watched this video first lol to know what the little hose was for.. I ended up just pulling it and saw water rush out and luckily got a pot to catch the residue.. all could have been prevented had I seen this video before performing the action.. great video

Mine was ten times worse than that. Kit kat wrappers and hair. There was so much water that i literally laid on the for an hour with a pitcher and a bucket. 2 gallons is what i pulled out and when i pulled the filter i had to shove a wash cloth in the hole to stop the torrent of water from flooding my carpeted laundry room. Lol great vid dude!

Great step by step video....I have cleaned this filter and there were no obstructions in the back of the housing; however, I am still getting water dripping from below the filter access panel and on the right bottom side of the washer (probably just traveling from the filter area). Any other ideas on what I should check?? Thanks

Great video! My tube just had graduated bulbs to hold it on instead of threads and I wasted a lot of time trying to unscrew it. Other than that it worked like a charm! We have 4 dogs so I am going to clean the filter once a month from now on.

Same washer, same dog hair... and my washer works great now. Just wish I didn't pause it before you drained it with the little hose. I got water alllllllll over my dining room floor. thank you for this video! i followed all the steps, cleaned the filter like you showed in this video, turned the Samsung front loading washing machine back on ( rinse and spin cycle) and it worked until only 12 minutes remained in the cycle which is when it stopped. Now not going at all, and the nd error is back on. :( it did the rinse cycle and got stuck on spin. now the front door wont even open.

Great video. I checked my drain and it seems to be free of debris but in the video you said you were going to remove the panel to check the impeller? I think I'm saying that right. Lol but that is the part I needed to see. Can you please help. My washer has been 2weeks down. I put my finger in there to try to spin it but it doesn't freely spin so something must be stuck I assume.
