You saved the day! We have this same washer and got an error code ND. (No Drain) First thing I did was of course go to KZbin university and found umpteen videos on how to replace the drain motor. However, I checked the drain motor and it was working fine. Figured it might be the control board but this part is no longer available. I was about to give up and buy a new washer but no one seems to even have any in stock and our laundry was piling up. What to do, what to do? I then found your video and even though I thought that this was too difficult to do with all the silicone on both sides of the circuit board and every thing, I decided to give it a shot. Managed to get the old relay out and soldered in new wires to attach to a new relay I bought for $6 CDN. This worked like charm! Thanks a million for doing this video! My wife thanks you as well.

very good video.I can repair my inglis ifw7200 which using same driving sub board dc41-00052a.My washer showed nd and drain pump have no problem.

Joel! Thanks for making this video. I have the same issue and same model (except red). I measured the voltage on the connector and the relay sometimes turns on (after I tapped on it) and usually doesn’t engage. I suspect that maybe it has corroded contacts, so I will try to remove the relay cover first and clean the guts before attempting to remove the relay. I may even gut the relay out and solder to the top mount to not disturb the bottom. Do you have a PN for the replacement relay????

Hi Vladimir, Unfortunately I don’t have the relay PN, I used a random heavier duty relay I had on hand. Good luck with the repair, it looks like you are on the right track. 👍

I was able to x-acto blade cut the lid off the relay and spray with electrical cleaner. The relay is working great again. I may replace it in any case, there is a 5A version (better than 3A), which has the same PN, Fujitsu FTR F3AA012E 12VDC General Purpose Relays SPST-NO 12 VDC 5A.

Fixed permanently by soldering a new relay with leads over the gut leads of the old relay. No cutting on the back needed!
