MAKING A PINCUSHION WITH A CHINA CUP...
I thought I would do something a little different, and make these pretty pin cushions from some china cups I managed to get from a thrift store.

I really enjoyed your tutorial ! I happened to have the exact same teacup and saucer that I got from an op shop for exactly the same purpose however didnt know how to do it as there are not many tutorials like yours on youtube. So now I can do this project. Thank You for sharing Susanna.

Glad to see you guys got out of the lockdown reasonably unscathed. We escaped one over here this week in SA. November 2020. Love this pin cushion :) when things get 'back to normal' I will go hunting for cups. I saw one of these where the woman making the project used the saucer as well and decorated that with flowers. I have just thought that maybe gluing a round magnet to the saucer and covering it with a flower or something thin and flat would be a great place to keep needles ... hmmm ... methinks I will have to hunt around here lol

Beautifully decorated but overdone because not much room left for pins. The big bow right in the middle top is too large for the size of the cup. Hope you don’t mind this suggestion. Thanks for sharing.
