Not that she wasn't pretty as Isis, but she looked more natural to me as Andrea. The pilot movies for "New Original Wonder Woman" and "Charlie's Angels" aired about 4 and half months apart (November 1975 and March 1976). That's close enough together to think the casting process for both shows had some overlap. The number of attractive 20-something actresses who tried out for both shows is likely astronomical, and would logically have a fair amount of overlap. I'd be surprised if Joanna Cameron didn't audition for both programs too, before she had a lock on "Isis".
@PhysicalMediaPreventsWea-bx1zm3 ай бұрын

They did crossover in the comics. It was in one of the Superman/Spider-man crossover comics from the late 70's. They were urged to put them in the comic book as side characters because they both had popular television shows at the time. I have to find the graphic novel to revisit that story. @andrewweisneck11023 ай бұрын
@@PhysicalMediaPreventsWea-bx1zm I know. It's just that Ellie Wood Walker is the first glimpse of Wonder Woman before we see Linda Harrison in the mirror. The idea is that Diana Prince envisions herself as more attractive as Wonder Woman than she actually is. I think I read once that there was a longer version of the script where she infiltrated a sheik's harem and was the least attractive of the slave girls although in her mind she wasn't. It wasn't just Diana's fantasy that she was Wonder Woman because her mother in the pilot knew her secret when she flew out the window.
