hey! this is my account with bonnie (the one whos dms with craig are in the video) we are the two systems who were moderators in the server and i would just like to clear some misinfo up!! 1. tupperbox was not implimented for systems, that would be pluralkit. tupperbox was implimented for roleplay. the issue was that people were using that bot to talk as their fictionkins in normal conversation, even though they could just change their username if they wanted to be referred to as that character, while us systems NEED the bots for other alters to be heard in a non confusing way. 2. fictionkin bots were always allowed, craig used them too. i (sunny) made an announcement asking people to stop using the bots for just normal talking and craig retconned my request saying it was a “big rule” and that i didnt come to craig first. then as we explained it he eventually made an announcement apologizing and started listening to systems. a few hours later and the rule was retconned again!!! craig loooves listening to systems!!/sarc 3.. the live stream wasnt three hours, it was only 50 minutes. however, we spoke and tried to get craig to remove the bots for at least 5 HOURS. 4. also systems are not just did!! there is also osdd (otherwise specified identity disorder) besides that, this is a really well put video, im super glad you made it!! i wont really talk about the tone tags stuff because even though i am autistic and have adhd this comment is long enough and you got it all right anyway lol. - sunny 🧨

A small correction, tupperbox was originally made tor tulpas but due to popularity in roleplay servers and systems using the bot, the purpose of the bot changed. The official website mentions both pural and roleplay multiple times. From the official tupper bot website Tupperbox lets you have many different profiles ("Tuppers") which you can choose between easily with every message you send! Why? Immersive roleplay as your favorite characters! For plural users, let your headmates express themselves naturally! Edit: I’m a singlet so will not and have no right to say my opinion on the tulpa situation, a massive drama did start because of tupper box being for tulpas (this can be found by searching up tupperbox controversy) but it died down after a while. The site wording was changed because of this situation. I’m only speaking up because I use tupperbox for roleplay in one server and I am in a different server that only has it for systems to use.

something I hated about the discord was the triggers channels, The server had a channel for members, admins and owners to say their discomforts/triggers, this wouldn't have been a bad thing if it was a small server, but this server had over 1000 members, everyone had different triggers/discomforts. Some being very obscure (like mom, the word sorry, all that). This sent an alarm in my head, because Craig said to look at the channel. There are over 1000 members, this led to me being overwhelmed since atleast I had to basically censor everything. It can promit dogpiling (someone doesn't censor a trigger/discomfort they weren't aware and everyone harasses them).Triggers aren't anyone's responsibility. me having a discomfort for a ship isn't anyone's responsibility. there is no problem with censoring things, but please remember, not everyone is gonna do it.

I'm triggered by someone calling me "selfish" but not like an ego way because if I'm being selfish and you call me selfish I'll realize it and apologize. But if someone calls me "selfish" and it's not true or it's because I simply didn't want to do something for them cuz I knew it would be very bad for me/my mental health, it just triggers really bad memories such as /trigger words?/ the verbal abuse and manipulation I experienced. So I understand what you mean but I do think if people know it's a trigger they should be more considerate and careful and not mock them. ^^

I have 7 different personalities and I believe I get a say in this. I have a less severe version of DID called OSDD. Which means I don't get amnesia when I switch. With that out of the way, Tupperbox is a roleplay bot. I get that systems want to identify themselves as different people and it's good that Craig allowed them to do it. Getting diagnosed with DID is extremely hard and people with it usually have really hard lives. The cause of DID is usually severe childhood trauma, mostly ab//se. Getting diagnosed might take forever and people might never believe you, let alone think you are taking it. Not to mention even my own therapist doesn't take me seriously. She didn't officially diagnose me yet even if I made her talk to my alters. (Just because she didn't diagnose me DOES NOT mean I don't have alters. And having OSDD is just speculation, but believe me, it has research behind it, so no, I DID NOT self diagnose.) As specified in the pinned comment, fictionkins could just change their names and bio and such. Us people with alters NEED to use those bots sometimes, otherwise we have to resort in using different punctuation marks at the end of each sentence and they all keep asking "who is this". Not to mention Craig not talking to us just made us get extremely mad because we weren't taken seriously. As I said, getting diagnosed with DID is extremely difficult, you need certain specific symptoms, and most of the time, people will not take you seriously. Speaking from my experience that my therapist considers my alters as "emotions". I do believe I have a right to make a point if I have 7 personalities (most of them speaking as the same way as me) and a friend with diagnosed DID. Really, it's something difficult, and not being taken seriously by a "safe space" server owner just like you haven't been taken seriously for the rest of your life just hurts man. And angers.

I don't have Autism, but I have ADHD and Severe Anxiety at times. I use tone tags quite frequently or super specific wording because I have the lingering fear that someone will take what I'm saying the wrong way. I often appreciate it when others use tone tags too because sometimes I find it hard to read the room in real life (Or I just fail to think about it because I impulsively feel the need to say what's on my mind.) and that makes it infinitely harder to understand someone's tone from text sometimes. But from a lot of those screenshots, I can see how it can come across as mocking the usage of tone tags. Even with my anxiety, I don't use them in like every sentence. I sometimes don't even need to use them with friends because they have a general understanding of what I mean anyway. And I use emojis a lot too, so that probably helps. Even though I am definately not a system, I do think what Lowkeygenderless did was insulting. Surely there must have been other ways he could have done it to respect both parties, and I really dislike the fact that he put a rule in place, only to revoke it a few hours later. Maybe he had a good reason, maybe he didn't, either way I think he should have gone about it in a way that showed more respect towards the parties that the rule affected.

Personally i have not been diagnosed with adhd or autism but I sometimes need tone tags to make sure I don’t misunderstand the sentence (especially when it comes to whether the message is lighthearted or serious). So I find it really confusing whenever he misuses tone tags 😭😭 I once saw him use “/srs” and then “/j” right afterwards and like…..?? Huh!?!? 😭😭

I have adhd and need the tone tags or else I will be confused and severely hurt so the misuse of tone tags is just…frustrating at the least. At the most…I don’t wanna get into it. My point is they also said the N word in Italian but won’t get into that but as an AA that was…just that hurt…

I have adhd and to me the tone tag part was very confusing. Tone tags are supposed to clear things up in digital conversations (I think) but they just made their sentences confusing by using the ones they did.

small correction for the people in the comments, Pluralkit can be used by non systems and systems alike, yes pluralkit has "plural" in it, but the website itself says you can use this for roleplaying and otherkin but it was created with systems in mind. Check the pluralkit FAQ if you don't believe me.

As someone with DID, medically recognised before anyone starts up shit, [were also autistic but I'm not gonna talk abt that bit] People should not use bots if they don't need to, of course I can stop anyone but using bots for things like fiction kins can cause disaosiation in the person doing it. The reason systems use bots like tupper/pluralkit is to HELP them differentiate and figure out who we are and deal with our disaosiation, but if someone does not experience disaosiation uses these bots it causes a disconnect between themselves and themselves when they're experiencing their kin stronger. Which can be EXTREMELY detrimental to your mental health and can cause literal disaosiative disorders [not like did/osdd but non plural ones yknow]. It's just stupid imo. Like I'm not gonna yell at someone for it but I deeply advise against it.

Man this video was a rollercoaster, as a otherkin and fictokin being as well as an autistic person I’m extremely upset with whoever was running the server. Although otherkin can be used to cope it doesn’t mean that those with DID/OSDD/systems in general deserve to be silenced. Even if I wanted to use the bot for otherkin reasons, if systems were uncomfortable with the usage of the bot in that fashion in a server I run, I’d actually listen, like most people. And the use of tone tags is very important for me as well, when people don’t use them or if I don’t know a person well enough to know if they are joking or not, I often mess up relationships because I take that comment seriously. Knowing that there are people who don’t understand the necessity for tone tags and use them in a mocking sense is extremely disrespectful and ableist. Thank you for making this video, I find it extremely important for those uniformed

im a questioning autistic and what lowkeygenderless did really shocked me.. about the tonetags: I myself need tonetags but it felt as if lowkey was mocking them? they said their status was ben then used the /serious tonetag? that makes no sense.. I get that they are a kid and all but they are what? 14 now? at 11-12 I was more mature than that. I wasnt really a fan of their content mostly because it was danganronpa and danganronpa is really problematic (google is free dont ask me!)

not that related to the video but during the whole “racist audio” controversy, i was one of the people that commented that the audio that they were using included a racist slur and how they had also typed it out onto the video title, i was one of the first people to point it out (two other people had commented it), but as time went on and more people began to complain about it, they didnt reply nor apologize to any of those comments. it took them 3-4 whole days for them to take it down and change the audio, i shouldve known it was suspicious since it took them that long with so many complaints and their apology didnt help at all since they stated that they “didnt know it was a slur” which was stupid since that was the only reason it got popular in the first place. i stopped watching them after that but goddamn after reading that carrd, just sad to know that they probably just said that as an excuse to get out of everything.

As an autistic person, I think there are limits to how much tone tags should be used. Don’t get me wrong I still need them for certain jokes/ sarcastic things, but there’s still a limit. Yes autistic people like me need them in *certain* situations but not *all* situations, most autistic people can understand that stuff is serious or not though wording if it’s not too confusing to tell. And if you use tone tags too much it just feels like mocking or thinking we’re stupid and can’t understand tone at all, which is just ableist if I’m being honest.

As someone with social anxiety, I really struggle a lot to understand social situations. I try to think about what would be best, but due to my lack of proper social skills from anxiety, everything gets jumbled up in my head which makes stuff come out the wrong way. Not to mention my ocd causing hyperfixated related rambling. (Yes, I was diagnosed with both) This makes it very hard for me to communicate and understand other people because my head feels like it’s gonna explode, so I really need tonetags to understand what’s going on, since I can’t really understand how other people feel very well, much less over text. /gen /srs And what Craig was saying with the tonetags made absolutely no sense. 💀 /srs Like. As a system that was affected by Craig, he didn’t listen to us systems at ALL. He said he listened but he clearly didn’t. He talked over us and said he listened. If he had ACTUALLY listened, none of this would’ve happened. Craig should’ve known better and actually listened to us systems. It’s unbelievable that xe would do something like this. It’s honestly disappointing seeing Craig do this. If he had just LISTENED to us, everything would be okay and xe wouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. He could tell systems were uncomfortable with the rule. Even myself, said so. Tons of people left due to Craig being abelist. I don’t blame them. Lots of people were telling Craig to remove the rule but xe decided not to as they said “its my final decision.”

This whole video was settling and relieving to know the full situation, though there's only one thing that made me just a tiny bit mad PLEASE, when you're talking about systems, DID isn't the only disorder that falls under the category for those systems. OSDD, (OSDD-1a, OSDD-1b) exists too. It always makes me so upset as an osdd-1a system that people always leave us out. Also, for the tupperbox situation I'd also like to say something Tupperbox was NOT made for systems. It was a box made for "roleplaying" and a way for singlets/non-systems in general to feel included for whatever reason. Although, systems do use tupperbox, it is not the correct bot The preferred and recommended bot for systems is pluralkit. It's a much easier and more official bot for systems, with much more features for them. ((I'm not criticizing you or anything ! I just wanted to put this little thing out there since it's something I noticed. Otherwise, this video was great information!)

I was confused on what people meant for the ableist part but now I understand what they meant, also my thoughts on how Craiq misused the tone tags just doesn't sit right with me. I often use them to make things easier to understand the tone of what someone means. It's sad Craiq did these things honestly, I used to watch their content but finding out about what they did just was jarring to watch and honestly I'm glad people spoke up about what they did
