My twa stage was my favorite stage. Easy to maintain. Hair was always healthy looking, shiny. And dat fro! So many compliments, I think I was always smiling. But, I wanted “long hair” and has had a medium length plateau for 10 years. Still want long hair, but I be lusting after a short fro. My short twists were so cute too. Thinking about getting locs, but my hair is so damaged!!! I truly did better with locs, but I want to ensure my scalp and follicles have a far better advantage first. Start right, stay right. Even if I have to chop my TWA, I just want to take care of what God gave me! I’ve been watching your videos since 2016, mainly for my kids. While my hair fell by the wayside. I never truly understood my hair. Perms and chemicals all throughout childhood…ugh, it’s tiring, but I think this time, I will make my hair stronger and healthier. My girls hair are a witness to your great info. Bless you sis, so I know I am able to do the same for myself.

Undo the damage done by the products and the unfortunate instructions we have gained to do/put on our hair inside these salons?

Thank you Green Beauty! I love you! ❤ 😊 Yes, my hair is exactly at this short length, TWA. I was maintaining it so well, then got depression again and just couldn't motivate myself to tend to it, so for almost a month my hair has not been washed, moisturized or put into twists! I have 3 large spots on my scalp now; I've never had spots on my scalp before! One of them scabbed and I kept on picking the scab and have now made it worse...i'm worried. Can I send you photos, so you can tell me what to do? It's a mess! But I feel well enough to make an effort, so tommorow I will be washing my hair, using your wonderful clay recipe: Benzonite, Rhasoul, and Kaolin clay mixed with ACV and oil in my hair. This will be followed up by using an oil mix I made using 3 of the highest percent, organic penetrative oils in my scalp and hair folicles and ending it with a sealant oil for my strands. THIS IS AN ADD ON I forgot to say, thank you for your hair products, they have actually grown my hair, despite what I wrote, that is, like I said due to a lack of maintenance NOT YOUR OUTSTANDING AND INCREDIBLE HAIR PRODUCTS!

I will not suggest using gel to braid your hair. I know what you mean. They are adding gel to the scalp area so their roots look smooth and flat. And they are not washing their hair while it’s in the braids. That is a recipe for disaster. I’m gonna be posting a new video on braids b/c what’s going on these days is causing a lot of hair loss.

If your follicles become damaged is there something you can do to fix the issue?
@GreenBeauty
@GreenBeauty Жыл бұрын
If your hair follicles are damaged, it’s beneficial to get on a scalp healing regimen. Wash your hair and scalp every week. On your wash days do some kind of herbal scalp treatment like the Onion Juice recipe, oregano, parsley or Brahmi (just to name a few). Stay FAR AWAY from ANY FORM OF TENSION. This part is very important b/c if you don’t start away from tension, nothing else will work. And give yourself scalp massages for 5 minutes or so everyday. If you are consistent with this, you’ll be able to revive the hair follicles that are not completely dead yet.

I don't know how to handle or what to do with my short hair. My edges are thinning and my hair is shedding I am just frustrated. I don't know how some ladies are able to rock it. I'm so tired
