if we're being honest this is a grammy award winning song, it is incredible, chilling and perfectly pictured story it is a masterpiece and the best part is it's true and dave was only 18 when he wrote this

I'm British, I'm 49, it doesn't matter how old/young you are in the UK... Dave is on your playlist. He has won writer of the year several times including this year, his music whether it be Lesley, Starlight or Psycho is all amazing. Some of his bars (especially in Psycho) are so so good, his intelligence in his writing is superb!

That whole song was so touching I had a tear in my eye, this song is so deep and what a great message Woman stop being with a man who doesn’t love you or think he loves you, when he beat and hit you, to where your life is in danger get out leave. That’s a serious message lots of women stay in relationships like this and some loss their lives😢😢

This song was very powerful and deeply moving with a message that's so clear. It needs to be shared. I certainly will. Thanks for the reaction Twins!

This was a true story and the women died, but her baby was delivered and named by the nurses hence the song at the end ‘child without a name’

I'm new to Dave. Introduced to him through your reactions. He's not afraid to get into it deep. He makes me stop to think. Kinda like Kendrick Lemar. Powerful song....powerful reaction. THX.

Beautiful song; so sad. Never heard of Dave, thank you for introducing him. He says in the first lines they’re on the same train every morning but that could just be the fiction of song

i’m the last song of this album he says ‘break the fourth wall and base Lesley on my relative’ so unfortunately someone in Dave’s family has gone through something similar

The last bit of the song made me cry. My mum was stuck in a relation ship like that, for over 8 years.. One day we finally escaped and left. But the thing is now I can never trust a man the way I trusted him.
