I've always found funny when people think that saying "im going to end your life" or "Keep Yourself Safe" or smth like that is a death threat, and it's always people that are too broke to take a flight to find the actual person (or even go near their home), or who are so weak physically and/or mentally to be able to do anything to anyone, or don't even know how the actual person looks, or where they live, or they have pretty much every possible reason for it to not be an actual threat but rather some random yapping. Get them in person and they’ll be weak as newborn kittens and as threatening and aggressive as one. I’m just speaking about how they’d handle it. Pippa led a tougher life than Pika but she knows that giving in to it instead of standing her ground will make it worse and the harassers feel more justified. I’m also speaking as one that was bullied and was passive while trying not to be targeted for years until maybe 7th grade. Being agreeable and not confrontational made me more of a target. When I got to 8th grade I realized that was the wrong way and trying to stay myself even if I disagreed or fought back helped significantly. I never was bullied or harassed past freshman year really. Two guys tried my freshman year but one was all talk and he was for some reason bothered by the fact that my friends in gym were his friends too. The other guy tried threatening me because in class I was blocking his view of a movie and I didn’t know it but he thought I was ignoring him purposely when he got annoyed and threw a paper ball at me. I honestly didn’t know he was talking to me but he didn’t buy that. He approached me in the cafeteria. He said literally after we went back and forth about what happened in the class “Apologizing is better than ending up with a broken arm right?” Meanwhile I said “Dude, I’m not afraid of you. I’m not afraid to fight either. If I get suspended, my dad would tell me it’s a vacation and wouldn’t give damn about it as long as I didn’t start the fight.” So yeah, nothing happened. He even tried involving himself in convos I had with other people I chatted with in class that he was friends with a couple weeks later. He never started shit again. We’d never talked before the argument. Anyways that’s why I have the opinion I do.
