Ed Boon did not understand the concept of Street Fighter and though Block was a button and "Light" and "Heavy" meant "Low" and "High". He also didn't know about the strength variations on special moves so it was only on 1 button instead of 3.

What I love about these older Two Best Friends, that's lacking in the new ones, is editing. Even basic editing from joke to joke is waaay funnier than everyone rambling on for 28 minutes of gameplay, which is the current norm. I love you guys and what you do, but the effort to just take out the 0.5-2 mins of non-hilarious dialogue makes these playthroughs fantastic.

Probably because their full LPs are generally funnier, though these have a great tone to them I have found myself loving the full plays better. High run time, more jokes, running gags, and best of all, actual industry insight and people that know what the fuck they're talking about.

Kenneth Meredith Yeah, I've heard amazing things about TPP. I'm getting it soon! Also, my brother has given me nothing but spoilers. Kojima seems to just get crazier each game. Apparently, he's an easter egg hostage. I I was probably 6 or 7 the first time I played MGS. I proceeded to die immediately. My older brother (who was like 10) actually beat the game, but got the bad ending. I think my favorite part of this was when we got to the torture bits, neither of us could mash fast enough with our tiny baby hands, so we got my dad to do it for us. At some point, my dad saw Snake getting his balls electrocuted but decided to let us play the game. He was like "I see no reason why my children shouldn't be playing this." But then he was like "No way am I letting you two play GTA." His logic was that Snake does not kill prostitutes (on purpose); therefore, MGS is A-OK. Killing prostitutes is just wrong.
