I was your age when this album came out and had exactly the same reaction. This album is gold. Sammy Hagar began his solo career after leaving Montrose and made one of my favorite live albums, "All Night Long". You should check out "Young Girl Blues" from this album. Keep rockin' ladies!

It was neat to listen to Montrose rocking out. Ronnie Montrose was a very influential guitarist in his day, if never appreciated enough by the general public. I was a little surprised though, I was expecting the last of the three spin the wheel songs from the live stream three weeks ago, the Angelina Jordan song. You've done the other two, is there some problem in getting the video up? If so there are a ton of other songs from her that have been reviewed by other people, and that one has been covered a lot. I hope you can get a reaction up, Angelina is a contemporary singer, that video is from last year and she is 17. If you could, let me know what's up, I really want you to listen to her

As a San Franciscan, I want to say "thanks" for giving Monrtose their due respect. When assessing a band's worth, I like to look at when they were at their best. Were they originators or were they just jumping on the bandwagon and playing what was popular? Montrose was so far ahead of their time. Other great Montrose song to review: "Rock the Nation" "Rock Candy" "Bad Motor Scooter" "Paper Money" "Jump On It" (maybe a little too mature for you 😉. Review it in a few years. 😁)

this album is one of those rare times that its good almost all the way through. they made the last song the weakest which is a choice i always appreciated. put the bad songs on the end so the listener can easily skip them. but this isn't one of the songs i would've suggested as an intro to the band.

I was 10 when this album came out in 1973. There is not a bad song on the entire album. I am not sure if you know who the lead singer Sammy Hagar is. He has played with several bands over the years. You might have heard him in Van Halen after David Lee Roth was no longer in that band. Sammy has also been in The Circle, Chickenfoot, HSAS, along with being a solo artist and with other various bands. Ronnie Montrose is the guitar player that the band is named after. He started as a session musician playing on several people's albums, probably most notably for Edgar Winter. I just wanted to post a few fun facts for you girls to learn from. Keep doing what you do.

This song won the Wheel of Names prior to the Wheel of Names we won. It was my birthday month, and they love The Warning is probably why they did those first.
