I just read the comment by the university professor and it interested me, I thought it would be interesting to see what the actual laws are in Sweden seeings that's where this is happening and I found out that it's not actually illegal for students and university professors to have relationships with each other! I found this: "One in 30 students in Sweden have had a relationship with a teacher. Three percent of students at Stockholm's biggest high schools have had a relationship with a teacher and the teachers' ethical council says "you can't ban love"." I don't know the figures worldwide obviously but this strikes me as quite high?? Maybe it's more culturally acceptable over there and not as big of a deal as it is in countries where other viewers are from? I know we all have our own moral compasses and own opinions etc but to me this just doesn't sound "wrong" or "creepy" especially as it was the student perusing the teacher and not the other way around. At the end of the day social constructs and norms exist because of the same or similar thought pattern of the biggest group, so it's really hard to say this is "right" or this is "wrong" when something happens like this that isn't considered "normal" by the majority...just because somebody is different or does something differently, doesn't automatically make them or their actions wrong. To me this sounds like the teacher was going through a LOT, maybe struggling with whatever her brother was going through and everything at the university at the same time and then falling in love with a student on top of that...wow I'm impressed she managed not to have a breakdown!! She deserves props for keeping it all together! It's not surprising to me that she didn't know what to do or needed some time to sort it all out in her head. And to me it sounds like the student is emotionally intelligent enough to make her own decisions and was just desperate to find this woman who she fell in love with...who happened to be her teacher. I think it's sad some people on here are accusing Sadie and P of faking this to promote their discord....it's a discord, it's free, they're not gaining anything!!! You can literally FEEL the joy and excitement from them both in this video!! Especially from Sadie when she was reading the letter out, you could sense her disbelief while she read it. And I think it's even more sad that some people think the story is fake just because its rare! I don't blame them I think as a society we've become jaded and sceptical because there is so much bad stuff and AI fake stuff on the internet, but sometimes life really is like a movie like Sadie said in a comment! I think we should all remember that the women who are actually involved in this story are probably going to be reading the comments here too and we should all be kind. It's ok to let yourself hope that one day you might have your dreams come true too

So, as someone who has been a university instructor.... I understand why people may view this story as romantic, but to me it is not romantic at all. It's not about the issue of age per se; it's that it is a huge ethical issue for a teacher/prof to engage in romantic or sexual intimacy with a student. The teacher in that scenario always has the responsibility of upholding boundaries. This teacher isn't experiencing some utterly unique love story; they are simply one instructor among all the others who have preyed on their students and taken advantage of the position of trust and power they have in that setting. It's a little bit like if a therapist were to get romantic with a client; it doesn't matter the connection or chemistry they have, because it's an ethical violation due to the context. If this professor did enough that they got fired over this, trust me when I tell you that they crossed some serious ethical boundaries. Because too often, instructors who cross these lines end up not penalized (because it can be hard to prove, for example). I say all this as someone who started teaching university classes when i was around 28. So there was not always a significant age diff between me an my students (and i had some students older than me occassionally). I would *never* date any of my students because it is an ethical violation and I would be failing my students (the one I was taking advantage of and the rest) if I crossed that line. Even if i felt crazy chemistry with a student and they initiated, it would fully be my responsibility to keep the same boundaries i keep with all students.

@@TheOzan208 (tried to reply but it doesn't seem to be showing up so writing one more quick one just in case). I'm so sorry that happened to you. You didn't deserve it at all. I know it's common to carry shame after experiences like this, but please know that the shame is all his, not yours. What he did was wrong and he took advantage of his position of power, and broke what I see as a sacred trust that should exist between teacher and student. I'm honored that you shared your story with me and I will hold it in my heart with care. I hope you've been able to do some healing since this experience and that you have the support you deserve.

Based off of the emails we’ve received from these two people (even the ones that we didn’t publicize) they were so genuine! I couldn’t imagine why anyone would go out of their way to fabricate such a thing. Both me and P, believe that this is a real story.

@@Ramuna-ip4qy It sounded like they had the idea for the dating app style discord *because* of what happened with these two women? (And a viewer suggested they start the discord in the first place).
