I love that this basically challenges you to think a bit outside of the norm. Thank you.

So, out of _sheer fucking curiosity_ *how much bread did you guys actually end up saving and using there* as opposed to what might have been done with just making, I don't know. French Toast. Bread Pudding Croutons Ribollita Strata Just, making a bag of bread crumbs. And it's a slap in the face of everyone who enjoys French cooking to call that tomato cracker a Mille Feuille. That's a Crispbread Sandwich you made, miss.

The first season was so much better than this second one. It felt much more natural, but most importantly, everything from the first season could be used in the home. It gave us interesting tutorials and recipes that everyone could be inspired by. This second season is terribly scripted, and while it's interesting to see what the world's chefs can do with some leftovers, that's all it offers. Just a show and a self-presentation of chefs, nothing more. When most food is wasted in the home, we need more of the first season, more practical advice, more simple and interesting everyday recipes where we don't need cold smoking, infusing or freezing food in liquid nitrogen.
