Did the Jailor tell medium that he was not attacked by a jailed ww and medium didn't listen? Or did both the medium not ask and the Jailor not pay attention to what info was needed? It's just that the medium should not have been pushing 8 in any normal circumstance. Then again it is ranked practice. Good job on calling out Skimm, too bad it didn't help.

It's honestly a good fake claim and I love when there is a real trans in the game and 2 mafia claim trans stealing half and half of the real transporters trans who claim "transed" in day plus other mafia, and jailed mafia saying they were transed in jail etc. It just causes so much chaos, but like the mafia have to be active and coordinate and talk for it to work. None of them said anything let alone anyone even saying the word transed.

Did you forget Jailor doesn't know if the Werewolf that attacks them was jailed or not? Also, don't know why Lookout didn't tell Medium you were Werewolf. Since Jailor and Lookout died to Werewolf when you were Controlled, you of course attacked Jailor. Lookout would of seen only you visiting the Jailor, and yet survived. I don't know if that info was conveyed to the Medium, who misunderstood it, I mean, we have both been there, trying to explain the mechanics of the game to a Medium while dead, so some confirmation of what happened in dead chat could help.

I love the fact that you pretended to be new to get the Sheriff lynched, cause there is no way you wouldn't know a Jailed ww doesn't kill the visits. And that's so good that tp was not on Jailor, really saved that game for you. Anyway I'm highly amused that the medium was stupid and didn't talk to Jailor at night. Granted, its ranked practice and he might not know Jailor gets a special message, but calling you stupid for calling him out was just dumb. He's supposed to learn from his mistakes not get defensive.

Jailor can't see whether or not the one that they jailed is the werewolf that killed them, that used to be a thing for serial killer though. Also, I find it very strange that the lookout didn't tell the medium that you were werewolf since they would've saw that you visited the jailor as well.

Honestly lo is such a hard claim to fake when the town is competent. Sometimes you can figure out who visited jailor or something just based on who whispered them and who openly claimed to have visited them, but sometimes a ti or even a ts will whisper them just to claim and relay info without having visited them at all, and competent tp rarely claim before they have to. If you're pushed for a will you basically have to say you weren't on jailor or mayor or whoever needs tplo at the moment and risk looking super sus, or just guess and hope nobody calls you out for the misinformation that's probably in there somewhere, so no matter how far you get without giving a will, once you're asked for one you're basically screwed. And that's even assuming you don't have a proactive jailor who whispers lo claims asking who visited them in an attempt to confirm the lo's and the tp's all at once since any real lo's would see tp visit them and any real tp would show up to lo. If you somehow magically manage to get yourself confirmed as lo (which would require a lot of deduction skills and guesswork) you're basically set because who'd suspect evil roles (who actually know what they're talking about, if you weren't on jailor or have incorrect info they'll know it's fake) to claim lo and actually have the right info? It's not an easy role to fake so long as the town isn't stupid. However on the other hand, roles like Medium or Doc or Bg are much easier to fake (especially if there's no lo or the lo dies early on) since bg's and doc's don't get any info so their wills are relatively simple and "hey, if there's no lo, you can't prove I wasn't on jailor :/", and while medium wills require more creativity, unless there's a retri or an actual med (which isn't something you should count on happening), nobody can prove you're wrong, and it's especially easy to claim med since people will typically announce whatever they want town to do next right before they're hung. If the Doc said ya'll should hang #6 right before they're killed then it's a safe bet to put in your will that the Doc is accusing #6 in dead chat. However since nobody can really prove or disprove these claims, while they're easier to claim because there isn't as much room for error on your part, you're much more likely to be hung than a ti claim who has info and can back their claims up. Of course you could also claim a ti role like invest or sheriff. It's fairly easy to scumread and figure out who's likely to come up as ns for your sheriff will, and since people claim publicly and/or die, it's not impossible to pull out an invest will either. However sheriff's can be seen as ww if there's proven to be one in the game, and while they'll likely exe bg or med claims first and foremost, ww's and sheriff's share the same investigation result and sheriff isn't impossible to fake, so town'll catch on eventually. And Invest could easily be pulled off by a good consig or witch. I mean, if there's no spy and the consig isn't dumb enough to put only one result in their will, it's virtually impossible to figure out weather someone's a consig or an invest. And while witches on day 2 and 3 are vulnerable on account of not having witched many people and running into the issue of "i can't say i investigated #2 when #2 was just witched, lol.", it's not hard to just not claim d2 and pretend you forgot to, or even to say you sadly investigated someone who died, but announce that you'll look into #2 tonight, then share the results from the day before. But again, if they know there's a rm or a witch in the game, invest claims will eventually be called out.

I remember a game I had as witch. I found maf early and risked it for a biscuit by making contact via whisper. We collaborated the whole game until the end. We got to the end with with 2 maf, sk, and me. The maf told me to vote up the sk and I smiled an evil grin. I announced "Go SK! I'll control the maf!" Blindsided the poor mafia last minute and won alongside SK.

I have an idea to boost evils in this game, why not give the NE and NK randomised results from different town roles to make their claims better. So 1st night you get a LO result but the next you get sheriff, takes some skill to puzzle it to a good claim but you can also find your other evils like that and make it easier to work together!

No I just meant that you get a randomised night results as NE/NK that role does not have to actually exist but it is legit info. So if I’m jest and I get a sheriff night result I can make a play off that and first look confirmed or sus. Or if I find that 11 is sus I can whisper 11 and tell them I’m jest and we can work together. Didn’t think much about how it would actually work just thought it could cause even more chaos! 😅

But if resullts were randomized evils wouldn't be able to plan their claim based on their invest results, and their odds of being found by the invest would be the same. Besides, investigators could just check someone twice to see if their result changes, confirming them as evil (and as the only result that didn't change).

My first WW win was with Jester help. I classically faked sheriff claim, when it became obvious all TP were gone I came out as exe turned jest (as I knew who jest was when they claimed on me on a full moon), outed jester as WW, he went along with it, and told him to get the vet while I got the mayor and the last actual useless TI townie. Never discount NE as NK.

But wait. It doesn't say if the jailed target that attacked you is the WW or not. Unless this changed since when I last played? (Been like ~3 months). I just looked it up, it'll only tell you that the the SK you jailed killed you. Not the same with the WW. I've used this misconception before in a WW game of mine. Got jailed and killed the jailor but when the jailor told the medium that it didn't say they were killed by a WW they all thought I was innocent for a bit. Still lost but it helped buy me some time! lol If this was changed recently than I apologize for this!

There's something I don't get about this game. Wasn't lynching the forger actually a bad play? If I am controlled as evil and the next day someone comes out claiming spy and saying I wasn't controlled, I would assume they are the witch trying to tell me who they are. I wouldn't have claimed witched and pushed them in that situation. Why did you do that?

Probably because a fake spy is way way more likely to be a maf member pretending to be a spy since they’ll know the visits and only have to guess the bug visits, where as a witch claiming spy would have to guess maf visits and bug visits. Add in the potential for a real spy to step up and it’s basically suicide to claim spy as a witch. At least those would be my reasonings, I play mostly vip and lovers mode in coven, but I can hold my own in ranked.

If anything its just a bad game mode and you have to work for it? To be honest most people that are good at this game play all any not competitive classic. There is some that do play ranked and are good but they are show offs. In short why does ranked have the role list it has? There needs to be a neutral chaos to spice it up. Maybe 1 of the TRs can be replaced? Look I am just saying that ranked does not deserve praise it has a generic role list and no ncs? COME ON! THAT IS SUPER GENERIC! If you are a competitive player by all means do all any or at least Town traitor. But not ranked or ranked practice.
