1:41:20 -- No that's not correct. Kazuya is only ever +7 on hit (standing or crouching doesn't matter). So f4, db1,2~f is _only_ done because you can't interrupt them. Even if f4 (i19) hits, you can interrupt another f4 with ws4, so Keisuke is playing a very dangerous game. Kazuya's only safe mid that is less than i15 is df4 which is -9 on block, completely giving up the turn. So when you have heat with Kaz, it's so tempting to do f4, db1,2~f just because you can (like you mention, super powerful when you can hit confirm it). In the game, Keisuke hits with f4 then db1,2~f and does another f4 (blocked) ssr f4 (blocked) db3 which gets interrupted by ws1. The ssr is to beat ws moves (ironically ssr doesn't beat ws1, but ssl beats both ws4 and ws1). Why he then attempts a db3 is beyond me. db3 is only one frame faster than db4 (i19 vs i20), but everything else about is worse. It ducks highs, but Edge is fc, he's not going to do a high.

Actually b2 is i14 and safe. I've seen him end rounds like that too now that I think of it. f4 (blocked), b2>>>>2, d4 ... Something like that

b2 is i14 innit? doesn't change your logic though.

@@ObeseKings Yes you are right. I replied to my own comment yesterday with exactly that :) I tried using it today in similar scenarios, and it worked really well. For some reason I even kept scoring counter hits on the second hit of b22 when I delayed it, so the laser was guaranteed giving a wall splat. I stole a few rounds with that :D
