100% agreed. He completely takes the stink outta shit. Let me re-phrase... I have like 50 years invested in hair metal, Zeppelin, reggae, Sara Vaughen, etc etc. But man... what the general public thinks is country, is not at all this.. There is SO much golden music to be discovered if you just shut off your radios. 😊. 🙏-You Tyler, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Drive-By-Truckers, Jason Isbell, Centromatic, etc. etc. thank you, and Hank you!

Fuck ya, a true talent cannot be denied. I love all kinds of music. And this man is already a legend, and will Be talked about for the next 50 years. He just has it all.

Jared Dahl listen to colter wall you won't be disappointed I recommend the songs kate mcannon and railroad blues but honestly all his songs are great
@jldahl7 жыл бұрын
haha funny you mention him. He is actually from my home town. His father is the Premier of our province. Great artist forsure and great sounds, however the only criticism i have of him is his lyrics. He definitely did not come from hard times and strugglin times. Colton Wall was from a very distinguished and very wealthy family as his dad was the Premier, or as americans would see it, he was the (state governor)

Jared Dahl some people ,no matter where they came from have an old soul. Also , a poet writes of other stories in first person often. But I understand what you are saying.

I was out of my mind the first night we met I was feeling lonely and blue I just moved to the country to get me some rest The city put a hurtin' on you Especially a fella from Eastern Kentucky Without a penny or a worth to his name Wasting his life on a burning desire and chasing that honky tonk flame You were soft on the eyes and a hymn on the hearin' Leaving me helpless of lines To get you to listen to the way I was feeling And the plans that I had made for our night Hold on now buddy won't you wait up a minute You're mistaken if you think I'm the same As them skirts you've been chasing all over town Along with that honky tonk flame I'm a woman with a love so true Truth of the matter, I'd give it to you You just got to slow down, and quit acting that way Burning your barn in this honky tonk flame You were sweet to the touch and a touch for the takin' The minute I learned how to breed Finally found out that the love of a woman Who love me was all that I need Still on the road 'cause I ain't good for nothin' Except writin' the songs that I sing Beating them strings like they're owin' me money And chasing that honky tonk flame But I've got me a woman with a love so true Darlin' to me, but that's misses to you All I did was slow down Quit acting insane Burning my barn in this honky tonk flame

Maybe not this song, but I bet you could vibe to quite a few of his songs. I'm not exactly in love with each song of his, but there are some that blow my mind away. If it's his voice that gets you, well I don't know what to tell you that's just the feeling behind the music. That's the soul.
