Go see him live. Saw him in March for $20 in Pittsburgh. Going to Philly in Oct. The cheap days will be over soon. His band the Food stamps are amazing too

Got to see him about three months back in Salt Lake, I've been going to a few shows a month since I was young and his show with Lillie Mae was fuckin Magic. Absolutely incredible show, he was back this last month opening for Jack White but I didn't have the money to go. Really hoping I get to see him again in the near future. I think it’s awesome that having only started out with the few chords his dad’s buddy taught him, it turned into a versatility and understanding of that fret board. Try as I may and pray as I might for nimble fingers on the Six string; I find the language of melody can only be learned through the intimacy of time. I appreciate Tyler’s format and real approach. I really liked this interview if that’s whatcha wanna call it. Tyler is a character and I appreciate the texture in a world full of cookie cuts.

His great uncle from Dayton, Ohio. My hometown. My family is from Floyd County KY, coal miners who came to Dayton for work in the 60s. The East KY Southwest OH connection is powerful.

He comes really close to the same passion but when they played unplugged in NewYork kurt had the most passion i have ever heard. Especially in the last verse, it gives me chills watching it.
