They're drug addicted anti society punks who take advantage of the people they say they're helping, who would otherwise be homeless themselves. What better business is there than one that allows you to take donations from hard working people, scrape off the top so you can live off the street, while taking the rest, buying drugs and then say you're "helping the homeless" by going down and getting loaded with them. Fuck those charities. They're full of shit.

They probably have a deal with the dealer. That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard. Yes I understand addiction is horrible and a blunt might help in a pinch but they should’ve gone down there and made a list of items the tunnel residence needs and gone and bought it with the donation than handed it to them. Not a joint that’s going to make you feel ok for 1 hour, Something is fishy

Where's Kevin get his weed that he think it's almost always laced with fentynal? Why spend more on lacing it just to sell it at weed prices? Lacing weed is almost always done by the user nit the dealer. If you have weed and fentynal then sell weed and sell fentynal

Yeah that’s just completely ridiculous. It wouldn’t work in a blunt (burning destroys fentanyl), it wouldn’t work in a vape (vape temps are too low to vaporize fentanyl), and it wouldn’t work in edibles (the fentanyl would get broken down in the liver and not go to the brain), so it’s just a waste of money for the dealer. I understand completely that it is more worthwhile to put funds toward getting these people ID’s, but that claim was very untrue.

There's nothing weird about it you only need to use a percentage of donations on the actual cause of the organization in order to legally be considered a charity and being a charity gives tax breaks..... Non profit organizations are the ones that have actual interest in fixing a problem, for profit charity wants to sustain the issues long term as its a passive revenue source hence the gate keeping if too much light is shed on the homeless issue something might actually be done to solve the problem and that would jeprodize the cash cow they're currently monopolizing on....

I commend you guys for your bravery! I used to live in those tunnels 4 1/2 years ago before my family came and rescued me. I spent 3 1/2 years homeless in there and had COUNTLESS attempts on my life and had to run for my life every time it would storm. You literally would have no warning before the water would come pouring down the tunnels in the event of rain. That took some serious balls to go down there without knowing anyone prior to entering. I really respect what you guys are doing and hope you continue to document the problem of homelessness and addiction. These people need help and just need to be shown a little compassion. Most of these people aren't lucky enough to have family or anyone to reach out to them and pull them out of the hell they experience every day, or they would happily leave it behind. 4 1/2 years later, I am still battling my addiction, but I am 6 months clean and in a residential drug program. I thank God every day that my sister talked my family into rescuing me from that lifestyle in Vegas. This video brought tears to my eyes.

Moral of the story: the term "charity" can be used by malicious people, and if you are donating to charity you should do lots of research into the charity of your choice to see how the money is spent. Also: clearly, don't gamble all that you have, no matter what. (also I appreciate Tyler's style, he knows how to act chill with people in almost any scenario) I feel like there should be systems in place for people to get their ID/passport back, and most of all I feel like buying and distributing drugs to the homeless isn't charity it's fucking murder.

Honestly, I would just tell people to steer away from charity altogether. You likely have a neighbor, family member or friend who could use money more than people who run a 'charity' for a living. This isn't to say that I don't believe in charities, there are some good ones, obviously, but the only true way to know if you're actually taking care of someone, if your money is going to a good use, is to help those around you, instead.

It’s a cop out to dehumanize them as choosing it. It really can take one mistake I’ve heard people genuinely fall for money hole schemes or investments truly convinced it’d help and then they lost it all. It’s not all drugs we can argue it’s stupidity but circumstances are also a factor. @@jerryleroy9187I will agree that it’s strange illegal immigrants come here with the drive to work regardless of circumstances while people born here tend to stay homeless. It’s not like every illegal gets government support as people claim so who’s to blame? The employer for only seeking someone they don’t have to legally pay correctly might be part of that list.

A lot of charities are pretty corrupt. That’s why sometimes its better to just do it yourself rather than rely on them. An example of this is with a charity organization for displaced Palestinians. As soon as the ICJ ruling came out that Israel was committing genocide to the Palestinians the EU pulled out all funds for donations to Palestinian refugees including donations give By EU citizens without their consent

The amount of fear I felt watching this video is crazy and as a homeless person myself, I can tell you that simple hurdles like IDs is a huge problem that local authorities could help fix but simply choose not to. These people need services (obviously some people don’t *wanf* them and that’s fine since it’s their decision but those who need it and want it should have access to it) but there’s no movement of any sort to actually solve the problem.

I feel terrible for the dog. Not as much because of the living conditions, more so because I don't know how responsible someone that fkd up on drugs can actually be for an animal. Esp in this environment, and being that stoned, hard not to worry what that dog's future looks like. Poor baby has no choice in any of this.
