I’m from NH, but I’m going to college in FL so this video was super helpful. I’ve used a lot of these techniques to catch fish in both areas! 603 Bass is one of my favorite KZbinrs because New England is pretty unique as far as environment goes so if anyone is looking for good info, I recommend them ice-out to ice-in

It may be Texas bass get lethargic with higher water temps but up here in the Northwest they get crazy and very aggressive in the summer months, especially late afternoon into the dark hours. July and August are my most productive months here and they will go after anything more so reaction lures. Appreciate all your great content, thank you for sharing your expertise!! Come to Washington state Tyler we got some hogs here! Your #1 fan 😀

When I fish highly pressured waters I use the basics of what color/depth for the conditions and then look around and see what others are throwing and then throw what they aren't. Works every time. Then when someone near me asks what I'm using I be polite and tell them a lie.

In addition to Tyler's links, I suggest you have a look at Matt Stefan's channel for a northern perspective. He's an MLF pro from Wisconsin; I think he does a great job of delivering concise, to-the-point information - and he does it daily. @@robertbrost7777 Things are so different with KZbin around; there is some very high quality instruction available for your specific region. Back in the day, we had Bill Dance, Roland Martin and Bassmaster magazine. Great stuff, but they just could not be too region-specific due to the limitations of print and television. Great evening! Somewhat new to all of this, and your videos have helped set me straight. Do you happen to have some recommended fishing spots in ol southeast Texas? I’ve only really done stubblefield lake, north of lake conroe, but the common theme for anyone I see out there (me included) is no bass but a ton of catfish with a lot of carp and gar. Good stuff Tyler! I am in the North Region. I throw a drop shot in a clear lake now with great success but, haven't been able to duplicate it at another. That lake has pea soup colored water. Can I drop shot there or, is the bait not visible to the bass? If so, what color should I throw in that pea soup colored water? Thx

I don't know what region I'm in I live in Denver Colorado we have a shorter growing season than the warmer states?
@TylersReelFishing
@TylersReelFishing 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, much shorter. Usually deeper water too which slows growth, unless you have TONS of bait, which Colorado mostly doesn't

Lol it doesn't get hot in Michigan...right. Like 100 degree days and 80 degree nights. But sure, it's just snowing up here 24/7 all summer right?>
@deepintheheartoftx7548
@deepintheheartoftx7548 2 жыл бұрын
I know it’s been hot lately here in Michigan, but as someone who owns a house in Texas and Michigan and fishes both, Michigan does not have the sustained heat that Texas has, so our Michigan lakes and ponds do not get to be anywhere near as hot as Texas lakes and ponds.
@TylersReelFishing

Michigan gets “hot”, but not 70+ days of 100° in a row like Texas can lol
