Why tho…. Working on your basketball skills relentlessly is hard work…. Especially on a person body…. Only a few people can do that at a elite level…. He didn’t need to acknowledge that for a guy who have a 9-5 so they could feel better….. Training as a professional athlete is harder than a lot of jobs, regular or not…. That’s people that don’t even want to do ten jumping Jacks…. I respect how difficult his job is fr fr ….

He loves it more than most people love their job, he gets paid a huge multiplier more, and he is famous and idolized from it. In no way am I saying he doesn’t deserve it or didn’t work for it LOL. But if he loves it as much as it seems nba players love basketball, I can assure you it’s easier for him to wake up everyday and do it than an average joes job

Thats why when asked about the draft he always says he thinks being picked 21st is really a blessing not only did he land ideal situation but due to expectations as 21st pick he had less pressure & has been allowed to not be scrutinized & just play ball. By time media noticed him he had too much momentum & his fan base & love from the city is unrivaled in nba. Real fans know we been in Tyrese corner from January 9 2021 when he had his 1st start rookie year when he dropped 39 on denver with NO freethrows. A lot of sixers players are nice and down to earth. Elton brand generally is terrible with assembling a roster but he usually picks good character guys. It’s one of things he looks for.
