That was shockingly close. I used to have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt sport and I used to smoke golf's all day long. The little car could get up and go and on a highway picked up speed quicker than a fighter jet

Here in Croatia(EU) Golf R with additional equipment because the standard equipment is so miserable, it costs $83281.88 so you tell me about that plastic unreliable vehicle. Everyone is waiting for Chinese cars and not fake German vehicles that are constantly in service and for that price, it's no wonder that VW is giving out layoffs because no one will buy them anymore.

Im curious why Edmunds would choose to buy and review the Fisker. The car is not available anymore, no one can buy it so what is the point of reviewing it? That would be like buying an Atari Jaguar in 2024 and reviewing its games and how it plays. Also there has been alleged embezzlement and other financial malfeasance at Fisker so maybe rewarding them with a review is not the best idea but that’s another topic.

Seriously, sub-3000lbs was always a conservative benchmark for me growing up, and even then there were multiple options that were even lighter in the 2300-2700lb range. Now seems like that type of weight range is all but gone.

Teslas are known to fall apart before they reach 50K miles and that's the reason while they resell for pennies.

I'd love to see the Fisker again, but with better tires. The Bridgestone Potenza Sport are also OE tires in the EU. These should significantly improve times across the board, as the stock Alenzas are just not very good "sport" tires... With the Alenzas, the 1.01G corner force really shows the capability of the Ocean's handling. That said, the Ocean is basically on-par with the current Model Y Performance, and I think we a tire upgrade it could match the current EV6 GT. The new EV6 GT and the Ioniq 5 N are on another level...
