Super interesting to read about what sarasoba is - you usually eat 5 plates of noodles (looks like maybe 1-2 monthfuls per plate) per meal. In the set, you get the dashi soup, green onion, wasabi, egg, and grated yam. The first plate you eat just the noodles, then you eat 2nd plate dipped in the soup, then the rest you eat with the different toppings (or really you can eat it any way you like the restaurant won't judge you); then at the end, you add hot water to your leftover soup and drink that to finish your meal. It came from the town Izushi 300 years ago, and they also make the speciality blue and white plate to hold the noodles. This 5-plate set at the restaurant is 960 yen including tax or ~ $7.50 USD!

Guys - the egg dish is called Tamadon or Tamago don i.e. egg rice bowl. Sometimes translated to "egg drop don". Usually served with other ingredients like una-tama don (eel egg don) or ten-tama don (tempura egg don). Looks so delicious nom nom!
