His philosophy on training is spot on. Why hit a tire all day with a hammer and alot of that other bs you see out there in fitness. He prefers triathlons and nature for his training. One day my Uncle saw me lifting weights and told me that was a huge waste of time. He told me to join him stacking hay bails instead. I did....got paid to do it and it was the hardest workout I ever did lol. So I understand what Nick is saying here

Those who have completed university or even high school are, in general, able to express themselves better than Nick can (with only one year of high school) - add to that, his Social Anxiety disorder and his difficulty with the mike is understandable - Nick Diaz is a bad-ass, fearless fighter with a ton of heart, talent and cardio who comes to FIGHT each time instead of trying "not to loose" - He does his talking in the ring, which is all that really matters to true MMA fans. years later, listening to Nick Diaz is refreshing. The thing about him and Nate is that first of all, you know they say what they mean. Even if you dont agree, you know thats really who they are, they not talking on the back of some institutionalised corporate agenda. Also, once the ice breaks and they get talking, they talk some real sense and give you some interesting insights that you would not normally hear from other fighters. likes how he said money takes the fun out of it and how he enjoys training martial arts etc. but hate the money aspect of it

You can tell that the wheels in his brain are turning and he has so much to say but he can't express himself clearly. It's anxiety combined with an overall dislike of media and being in front of the camera. He doesn't care about fame or being a social media darling, his main concern is taking care of himself and those close to him. It sounds like his circle is extremely small but extremely loyal, a ride or die loyalty. I wish that someone gave Nick the ability to express himself and voice what's on his mind because he is such an interesting, intelligent human being and I'd love to find out what's going on in his head. Much respect to Nick Diaz.

Nick doesn't fight his friend - that's awesome, it shows how much the people who Nick allows to become close to him really mean to him + (I bet his friends are like sweet, I'm not gonna get my ass kicked today)........Both the Diaz brother are real, nothing fake about them. Nick has a harder time with anxiety, you can see it on his face when he is in public and a lot of people are around him.....but he is on of the great trash talkers.....Nate handles the business side a little better, he is not overwhelmed with by some of the things his older brother struggles with. But Nate is a terrible trash talker - neither express themselves very, you can tell the education and lack of positive role models in their lives. But both seem to be great guys when in a small setting around fans - Both love to fight, and in a bully way, they actually enjoy the art of fight and I bet in the gym both are great coaches who want to teach - They both struggle with the money aspect - they don't understand it or trust those who are trying to teach them about it - even if they are getting properly compensated (which I highly doubt ~ Danna White) they would not believe it due to their upbringing or lack their of. (and the Nick banned for Smoking Weed **REALLY** wtf --- Who elects the Commissioner or allows them to be appointed - Las Vegas residents - VOTE THEM OUT ASAP, or vote for the ones who can fire them - they are old and useless if they believe weed is a PED or the in same realm of a PED - just stupid - The UFC and Boxing committees ect.... should stand up their fighters and take their business elsewhere - find a committee in or outside the USA to allow Nick to fight.
