We need more of this. The more everyone talks about Jones like a has been, and Aspinall as the real champ who would obviously beat either Jones or Stipe, the more Jones' ego will make him want to take that fight. Maybe he never takes it. He's a smart guy as far as managing his career, and he clearly has something over either Dana or the people signing Dana's checks. This didn't age well. The supposed best HW of all time Stipe was absolutely demolished by Jones. Aspinall should show more respect. The worst he can do to jones is hand him his first real defeat. Jones will go into the hall of fame regardless and make 50-100M+ dollars. If Jones beats him, Aspinall's undefeated streak will be gone and his weaknesses will be exposed for everyone to see. Jones can do that. All others will all then focus on those weaknesses and pull him apart. Aspinall is risking his future but as Izzy said, "dare to be great". I guess I need to spell it out for everyone. The UFC wants to be able to say they now have the greatest heavyweight ever, and it never was Francis. Jones needs to beat Stipe to further legitimize himself as the heavyweight champion and goat. If Jones retires afterward, then he's the guy who beat three generations of badasses, champ in two different weight classes, and beat the guy who beat Francis. UFC and Jones wins. If Jones sticks around and fights Aspinall, it doesn't matter who wins at that point. They will hold the banner of the greatest heavyweight ever. UFC wins either way at that point.
