Of course, one way to change it up is actually to slow down! (I'm more familiar with the Ray Charles cover, so that's why I bring that up) Sometime could you make tutorials for some of your own songs, for example "Little Jumping Flea?" I really like that song!
@UkuleleZen11 ай бұрын
Why, thank. you! I would be delighted to make a tutorial for that tune -- it's based on a stock chord progression from New Orleans Jazz Traditions :-) Stay tuned for it somedya not too far from now! All the best to you Wyatt.
@wyattstevens85749 ай бұрын
When you're in the bridge, I can almost hear "I Saw Her Standing There." Whenever I listen now, though, I mentally start the song with you saying, as if after the tutorial part, "Ok let's jam!"

Great song. Great teaching tempo. Great content...but (😄) I`d love a playalong to practice along. Your arrangement of this song is not out of reach technically, and it is a great workout technically and musically. Whether I can sing it, is an entirely different question. Another thing, I`d like to compensate you for your very good work, but not through Patreon. Is it feasible for you to sell arrangements through your website? Cheers Mort from Denmark

Thanks Mort (my Father’s name) If I hear you right, you’d like to have a play along video WITHOUT the teaching breaks? Glad you’re here - in the video description there is a link to offer a donation via PayPal of Venmo … Patreon offers you some nice perks if interested. Happy jamming 😀🎶🤙

Excellent tutorial but how I wish you’d referred to the change from B7 to Em as “the same three fingers, in the same pattern, move ACROSS to the first three strings and not “….down to…” Yes, there a lot of new players for whom down might mean nearer the ground but 1. before long “down” will come to refer to pitch not “height above sea level”. 2. when it comes to chord diagrams your own video presents them vertically so that “across” is the better word 3. And unless nless the melody notes being accompanied happen to go down from B to G, the change, even in re-entrant tuning, sounds more up than down to my ear.
@UkuleleZen2 ай бұрын
Great points! Thanks for the feedback. I’ll start saying across - and if I say down I’ll say “downward towards the floor”. Keep on jamming 😊🎶🤙
@PatrickDoyle-bl1fh8 ай бұрын
Why does does he always choose a key thats to high for him to sing in ?
@UkuleleZen7 ай бұрын
I guess I like a challenge 😉 sometimes I have to choose the key based on ease of ukulele chords, knowing that if I make the cording to difficult with that different key, many players won’t be able to follow along… Always OK to go to falsetto voice, of course 😃🤙🎶
