Woo-hoo! Digger action... That looks like fun. Back in the day, my dad would've said, "There you go, kids. That's your playground. Clean up all those sticks and I'll give you 20 bucks." We would slave away for weekend after weekend until we finally left home and he'd end up with a flat place to park his boat - and he'd still have the 20 bucks.

Haha my kids will pickup pinecones and that’s about it 😅 they can play in the playground while Chelsea and I move logs and plant haha

Haha it’s a bit like that aye! I should have hired a bigger skid steer but that might have torn up the grass more, this little thing is quite good at navigating all the stumps we have haha

Morning guys, Been following your channel for a while and it helped us when choosing our own van. Thank you. I have recently found out that in NZ on a class 1 licence, the weight limit of 6000kg does not reference actual weight. It references the GVM specs of the tow vehicle and caravan. With the MU-X having a GVM of 2750kg and by memory the van having a GVM of 3500kg, that would put your combo outside of class 1 and you would need class 2. I've found myself in the same situation with a 2900+3500 GVM combo. Waka Kotahi confirmed I needed class 2 even though our actual weight is 5500kg. Insurance company confirmed they would look at GVM figures not actual weight. This does not seem to be well known or understood. If you don't have class 2, I'd suggest looking into the legislation around drivers licence classes yourself.

Hey DW, apologies for the delayed reply, missed this comment somehow. That’s very interesting info, I always thought it was the actual weight but I think I’m wrong there. I think I’ll ring Waka Kotahi on Monday and ask them the same question you did. Thanks for the info, it might mean I need to sit my class 2 asap 😅
