That looks amazing! How is the taste of the squid ink pasta? I haven’t tried it before

@@INSCIFI It’s kinda salty with a little umami taste but pretty mild.

Was that circular grill grate insert on your grill for a wok?
@DadGotThis3 ай бұрын
@@rbiv5 I have a video coming up on that soon! It is a feature of the grill that lets you swap it out for things like a flat top and pizza stone!

Not trying to be fasticious, genuinely asking: what's the point of grilling the lemons? They look good with the marks when presented, but does it actually improve the taste?
@DadGotThis3 ай бұрын
@@offroadskater it makes them “more juicy”. Heating them up seems to increase the amount of juice you get out of them.

Ok. Need to test that. One juiced after grilling, one raw. I'm curious, now, if it's worth it to lose the brightness of flavor and the vitamins, which get destroyed by higher temperatures starting at 105 f. More juice is an argument, of course. Especially if you're down to half a lemon and don't want to go out and buy one.

@offroadskater I should state that it makes it “easier” to juice. I’m not saying that it magically adds juice. By heating it, it softens it and allows you to get more juice out of it.
