This is the Alphonso and Kesar variety, generally preferred varieties should be dwarfing nature and less in fruit size.

Sure sir, it is possible till two years of growth. If you plan on a rainy season separate the drip system not required. Otherwise need separate drip irrigation systems for irrigating chick pea crop.

Instead of uprooting you can cut the trees @1 metre height from the ground and rejuvenate to new trees with proper canopy management. Gaps in between old trees you can fill with new plants.
