Their banter about "half-elf" in LotR is surprisingly accurate. Yeah, the Valar thought this is such a rare incidence that they could just be their own thing. It also specifically means in their bloodline that an immortal half elf can choose mortality. Elrond's brother did so and it led to Aragorn's bloodline.

6:50 I actually can remember the last time I fought a dragon in D&D! sure it's been a while, but Lost Mines of Phandelver lives up to the Dragons part of the name at some point lol.

I was so happy when she knew what a niffin was, and that The Magicians were basically mentioned two times in one episode (Q being one of the wizards). I never hear anywhere about it, and the show is amazing. I think in episode with Siobhan, Julia was there as a witch on the board. I really need to rewatch it!

This isn't an Um actually statement, but it is amazing how much Vivi looks like Orko from He-man. I 100% thought I got that one right.

Umm actually whetstone usage varies on how often/heavily you use your knives, the material of the blade, and user preference. A lot of professional cooks sharpen their knives monthly or weekly

Man, dragons are awesome for breaking a game. You really gotta throw those things out there and see what happens more often. I'm in one party where we rescued a young white dragon who'd been captive by some Kobold's since hatching and wanted out. She's tagged along cause we keep feeding her and giving her a share of the loot. Then she drew from the deck of many things...and...got the Balance card. NOW she's Lawful Good. Who'da guessed.

Um, actually, Arwen IS pure elf. First off, her mother Celebrian is pure elf, and second, while Elrond was BORN half-elf, he chose the elf side, while his brother Elros chose his human side. It was Elrond and Elros who are sons of two half-elves, and Elros is Aragorns ancestor, making Arwen and Aragorn technically incestuous, albeit with many generations removed.
@Mantaur1043 жыл бұрын
I think there are enough generations between Aragorn and Arwen that there is no problem of incest. Also, Elrond is getting royally screwed by the whole "half-elf" thing.
