Unboxing a surprising good CD COLLECTION

Cds have been a nice pleasant surprise to me, and during this long winter in California, (its still cloudy here!) I have been getting back into collecting and listening to cds. Ed ‪@bigedhaaheo‬ who is a big thriftier and hunts for music at his local flee markets sent me a box of cds. There are so many great titles he shared with me, and I am so thankful for the time he took to find these albums. I want to share opening this box of cds with you, so you can look out for some of these cds too for your collection. Its easy to pass up titles you aren't familiar with, sometimes a cd will surprise you on how good it is.

I have a full terabyte of burned Cd's on my Windows 10.. I started at least 15 years ago. I make playlists from it, and back it up with sn external hard drive as well. Watching the rest.. Cool Cd's Monie ! 😊

@@MonieMuse oh gosh no, they’re all long gone lol I remember buying my first CD player in January of 1986 it was a Sharp DX-100 I paid $500 for that thing😳 CD’s averaged $16.99-18.99 😲 I know, right?! I have some CD’s but nowhere near what I had back then. Enjoyed this walk down memory lane.

CDs! I also love cds. I just bought the coolest player too, its called the Sony D-5. it was the first portable player and it sounds and looks amazing.

Why would Ed want to send you a box full of cd's? cd's are great. The Carpenters are easy listening ! I like the original shiny disc as opposed to the colored re release one? Sam Cooke , U2 war, Paul Simon , Rolling Stones , John Denver , Beatles Yellow Submarine , Cure , Jimi Hendrix are you experinced, Doors La Woman , David Bowie, Sade , Simon and Garfunkel sound of silence, Marvin Gaye, Beach Boys , that made 2 of us I don't own any nirvina basicly except 2 albums by Alice in Chains I don't own any music from the 90's no Type o Negative, No Candlebox , No Maryln Manson , rage against the machine nobody from the 90's 2010's don't do anything for me the world is ruined? now some questions 1. do you remember that video I guess compared to today's videos we call it a classic but back then we just called a video Wicked games? 2. I would imagiane theres something from MTV back in the day on that Cure album from 1986? 3. what's your favorite guitar piece off of that Jimi Hendrix album ? 4. that Doors didn't come out in 1975 Morrison was gone I want to say in 1971 that must be a later pressing! 5. so who are your favorite artist of the 80's? feel free to list as many as you have time for? 6. why is classic MTV so bad whatever videos of the 90's that they play are lousy? the 80's videos there missing a bunch of bands and there missing certain videos from different albums like No China girl , No girls on film , No ZZ Top what is wrong with channel 186? 7. do you ever watch channel 186 classic MTV?

Lots of questions lol Ed buys in bulk sometimes from flee markets, people selling a box of cds for a few dollars, he told me he has a garbage full of boxes od cds lol and ends up with doubles. He’s a great thrifter, follow him on Instagram. I gotta think about all the other questions

Yeah 2010 was when I started to buy MP3’s from iTunes and would listen to pandora a lot and discover a lot of music. I found a lot of my favorite artist that decade. I didn’t grow up with cable so I never watched mtv. I saw a few music videos when I would be at w friends house. Bands from the 80s, I don’t have a long list because I’m still discovering that decade but the cure, u2, the smiths. What are some groups I should check out?
