I am just like you. I cannot fish alone. I am either fishing with my son, or my nephew. I’m all about fishing, but I’m also all about memories with them. They’ll look back on these times and remember to continue the traditions we have with their own children. That’s what’s important to me. That boat is pretty cool. I’m not big on foldable boats, but this is one I would consider.

@@familybudgetfisherman thank you Malik….yeah, I know. When I buy something in the USA, I can always add up at least 20% of the total amount due to customs (shipping included). That‘s the reason I have to buy bulk when there is an attractive sale such as Black Friday. You would not believe the savings that could be made anyways, in particular buying US brands (Gambler, Z-Man, Strike King e.g), line or other miscellaneous goods which is at least doubled the price in Germany. I build a complete lineup of Yo-Zuri hardbaits (Jerkbaits, Cranks and Shads) where it was less than a third of the German price. Anyways….to make a subscriber happy…..isn‘t that priceless Malik? :)

Portabotes are great. I had one for many years. Perfect for electric only lakes with limited access. If I'm being honest, probably caught more out of this than my bass boat. You'll get faster at getting it together. I will say I kind of got tired of taking it apart and getting it on my vehicle after a long day of fishing.

That looks interesting. I like seeing what options are out there. I own plenty of land to store boats and kayaks on so the folding feature doesn't seem that valuable to me. I do like that you could easily carry it to the water from a truck for those hard to get to places. We had a 12 foot aluminum boat growing up we used to carry on our vehicle and my dad would carry it to the water by himself, but it would have been way heavier than one of these.

Oh yes. This bolt has several features that may attract people for different reasons. The boat does not have to be folded up after each use. It could be trailered and then carried on a kayak dolly. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣🎄🎁

i have a 2018 20 foot ranger fiberglass i tourny fish out of but back when i was looking at these for my little cousins/family to fish out of so they didnt have to drag their jon boat/kayaks here to my 7 acre lake behind my house i built... and came across a slew of horrid reviews on them.. theres one even titled "the worst financial mistake of my life" and the guys wife is furious the entire boat ride lol make sure its not a POS before the return time runs out.. all im sayin.

I definitely understand. This is my second Porta-Bote. I had one about 15 years ago and I was very hard on it. That boat was resilient. There are some improvements that I am glad they made over the last decade or so that would have made my experience with them even better. 👏🏿👏🏿🎣
