Unboxing & Overview: Microsoft Xbox Elite Controller Series 2

This video is an unboxing & demonstration of the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 from Microsoft. The Xbox Elite Controller is a high-end option for Xbox & PC gamers which gives additional features as well as a higher-end feel in the hand compared to the standard Xbox Wireless Controller for the PC, Xbox One or Xbox Seires X/S, however this comes at a hefty price compared to a standard controller which as of 2020 has been updated to include some of the Elite Controller specific features such as a grippier textured body & triggers and an eight-way D-pad. In this video I compare the Xbox Elite Series 2 to not only the new Xbox Series X/S controller but a host of other game controllers as well. I also go over it's hardware features as well as demonstrate the software as well as use it with a couple of games (Forza Horizon 4 & Halo: The Master Chief Collection)
In my Xbox Series X unboxing video I mentioned I was getting a new Xbox Elite controller to replace my original Elite COntroller I purchased in 2017 due to the wear and tear this original controller has gone through for the three years I've used it. My original Elite Controller has been RMA'd to Microsoft twice for repairs to the grips however they have failed again so I figured a replacement with the newer Series 2 Elite Controller was worth the upgrade.

The Series 2 controller looks more comfortable, but I prefer that the original Elite controller used green. Hopefully, when Microsoft creates a Series 3 controller, they use green in the controller.

slight correction, it actually has 4 profiles, the last profile is a default and cannot be changed. (and shows up as no lights on)

It’s easier to find a new TV than a Series X so I got one when I was able to, a TV can be bought at any time. I’ve looked for nee TVs for a while however I can’t find anything that’s 4K with HDR that’s under 40-inches. I have very limited space and can realistically only fit a 32” screen. I plan in getting a gaming monitor instead of a TV once I have some more money to spend.
