I found my eyebrows raising in shock. Full 360 with all that chonk, gods.... The articulated talons. Damn good looking figure. Great review.

Sanguinius dropped and is going to take Figure of the Year. The Great Angel is going to be magnificent. Plan on getting Horus eventually for a display piece. Already preordered Sanguinius my hawk boi.

Oh my God, this is just a Masterpiece... I know this is a figure that would be expected by many people to be just a regular toy etc., but i would never allow my son to play with this HERESY (joke)! The amount of detail, overall representation of the character is just INSANE. I am the guy who do prefer McFarlane WH40K figures to collect over JoyToy but i am clearly IMPRESSED with this one... Can you imagine JT would some day release the Emperor Himself or even Titans with right scaling according to their WH figures? That would be clearly a piece of art to have in collection or just to play with. As always, thanks for the amount of passion and attention to details you do always put in your reviews! Such a pleasure to watch after the workday. P.S.: I am personally eager to see Angron and Mortarion (40k version tbh) by JoyToy.

I do prefer McFarlane WH40K toy line over JoyToy because for my opinion it has better value overall - good size and material (i know the paint is average and in a bit lower lvl in comparison of JoyToy) and because of a size and its solid sharp look. I am huge fan of 6 inch Action figures and i do have some favourite ones (Stormtroopers and McRee by Hasbro, Raynor, Arthas, Pennywise by Neca, Doom Slayer and Dark Angel sergeant (i am super happy to finally have Son of Lion in 6 inch scale) by McFarlane an so on) on my shelf and i am eager to get WH40K Terminator and Cadian Veteran. Although i have Krieg Veteran soldier and Black Legion SM by JoyToy next to my collection and i am impressed with details they put in a such small scale. I wish i could buy Krieg Veteran by Mcfarlane one day...

​@rstcore885 I really appreciate the detailed reply! I favour JT because of their range and details. I am a "lazy" collector who is unlikely to mod/embellish these figures. So the "out of the box" standard of JT checks my boxes. They're somehow cheaper than the actual miniatures too, despite their accessories, articulation, and pretty good paint job.​

I just received my copy of Horus from Davidtoys the other day, and unfortunately, he was missing the ammo belt closest to his thumb. Luckily, they were willing to replace the part for free and have already shipped it. I'm sorry that yours also had an issue with him.

I prefer collecting miniatures and painting them but that Horus figure looks amazing. Personally I'm waiting for Joytoy to make Konrad Curze , along with Sevatar, maybe they'll even make Talos . Lol

Committed Heresy by buying him, but as a lore guy it would do my collection injustice to not include the Arch Traitor himself. Plan on collecting all Horus Heresy Primarchs anyway, so why not start with him. Next will either be Russ or ideally Sanguinius (if he’s revealed) Also helps I bought him for $100 with free shipping with Prime 😂 ($180+ MSRP)

I believe Russ has already been revealed, possibly even available for purchase on joytoy's website. I do think sanguinius could be the next one they make, though it could also be someone like Angron

@@josefstalin9678 yeah, Russ has been revealed and is available for pre-order and ETA in Sept, I was saying if Sanguinius is revealed he will be my next Primarch purchase instead of Russ. Would pair better on display to have Sanguinius and Horus, after that then I would get Magnus and Russ I only hope and wish for them to do an Emperor figure after all the Primarchs are done because GW can get away with it since they won’t need to do a ruleset for the TT. I’m extremely doubtful it will happen, but we can only hope!

the trophy heads and skulls are waaaay too big, they should be tiny compared to his head. Even space marine skulls would be the equivalent of a child skull compared to him. Normal human skulls he could probably wear as earings lol.

There’s no shading on any of the metallics, including the armor. The mace doesn’t look any less detailed than the rest of the figure.

The prices for these JoyToy 1 : 18 figures are completely exaggerated. Here in Europe this figure costs 250€. That is complete madness. It is a normal plastic action figure with "toy standard". It is not a figure from HotToys ffs.
