Definitely one of Shamalan's best movies. "The Village" is also awesome. It has lots of twists and turns. Be sure and react to that one. "Unbreakable" is part of a trilogy. The next one is "Split," and the third one is "Glass," which I think is the best one.

Samuel L Jackson sells the hell out of that ending - of the sense of *fulfillment* he gets from understanding he's a monster, and that he was always "supposed" to be. He... wins. He won. He didn't just prove his theory right, he validated his own existence. "they called me Mr. Glass"

Absolutely! Jackson hits it exactly right. Elijah has a transcendent moment of both joy and shame. He didn't want to be a villain, he just wanted to be something. But his obsession was ultimately selfish. He talks about questioning himself - he knew that what he was doing was wrong, but he couldn't stop. Everything about the revelation scene was just perfect. You get to see Elijah's triumphant moment, and see it drive him mad.

This is my favorite superhero origin movie. Thanks for the great reaction. If you're doing psychological thrillers then "The Devil's Advocate" with Al Pacino, Keanu Reeves, and Charlize Theron is a great one. "Fallen" with Denzel Washington, John Goodman, James Gandolfini, and Donald Sutherland is a good one that seems to fly under people's radar. Another hidden Gem is "Frailty" with Bill Paxton and Mathew McConaughey. Of course "Glass" is the final one of this trilogy. A review of "Split" is a good idea.

It saddens me that you already knew of the trilogy. For us watching the second part (2017) was the twist of the decade, bigger than Sixth Sense, dare I to say. We had absolutely no clue, nobody advertised it, and at the very last second we were "NO F*IN' WAY!!" in theaters. One of my very best cinematic experiences.

What is one thing I dislike about this reaction video is how contentious the woman is. Extremely argumentative and close minded. The reality of it all is, they are both correct. One person could be correct. And the other person could be correct. They are both correct. The problem With the woman is she cannot except the fact that there is validity to both arguments and perspectives. And as a person who has seen the whole Trilogy and theres watch this movie several times. She has no idea how correct the both of them are. I hope that she can explain herself, but then actually listen to the man’s point of you as well. To listen, think, ponder, and learn before responding.

I really enjoyed this movie when I found it. I clever take on “super hero” stories that make it more believable. I think the two sequels are ok. But this one is more grounded in an every day reality, or at least as much as possible

28:10 I don't agree with *Marian* when he said one of the reasons *Mr. Glass* made the _boom-booms_ was because he wanted to show people _how easily _*_they_*_ could break_ as well. I don't believe that even entered his mind. IMO it was as *Joy* stated, _all done with the hope of finding his opposite._ IMO it's important for us to remember that *Mr. Glass* had no way of actually knowing if there even was someone like *David* out there. The only connection 'Split' revealed that it had with Unbreakable was at the end when Willis shows up to show us they're in the same universe. The 3rd had such potential on where it could have went or what they could have done but IMO, M Night dropped the ball with that film. Would be interesting to hear both of your thoughts on it when you do end up watching it though.
