There is a major difference in the two men. Gordon Ramsey is a MasterChef with his own restaurants first then TV host, while Jamie Oliver was a Assistant Sous Chef that was good on camera. I remember reading that Oliver was aggrieved and felt that Ramsey didn't respect him as an equal, Ramsey replied that he wasn't his equal.

Gordon is always in hurry cause he is not Tv chef he is restaurant masterchef which is always making foods fast and delicious

Thats why I respect Ramsay. Yes he is some times arrogant but holy cow he actually goes to countries and learn how to make authentic food from that region. He is arrogant because he is just THAT good

In traditional homes in the rual parts of China, as well as India, Malaysia and Indonesia they often have an outdoor wood fired kitchen. It helps to keep the house from getting too hot in the summer, because those types of homes don't have air conditioning. Also, because of the strong smell of some Malaysian and Indonesian ingredients it's better to keep the kitchen seperate from the rest of the house.

I'm Pacific Islander, Micronesian. We also have both Indoor and Outdoor kitchen as well. Yes, outdoor kitchen is where the good food is indeed. :)

He was actually cooking for a 🤴 and his family at the time . It's one of his episodes on the national geographic channel. Gordon travels all over the world learning the people's culture and ingredients to broaden his skills.

Gordon Ramsey is hard on people because he expects them to serve the best, especially contestants in Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmare and Hotel Hell, even Masterchef, he is however very nice in Masterchef junior

Gordon is used to work in a restaurant and the food must prepared in a hurry. People are witing for the food.And are hungry ! OMG ! LOL !

having outdoor kitchen is quite common in SE Asia, and probably in China as well as he is part he has Chinese lineage.

I can personally verify Uncle Roger's claim on indoor and outdoor kitchens. And he's pretty much spot on. There are several good reasons for this, too. In the case for special occasions, both kitchens are used for different purposes. Indoor kitchen is used for lighter cooking or low-heat cooking. But in essence, the indoor kitchen is mostly used for preparations for what will happen in the outdoor kitchen. Outdoor kitchen is where the REAL magic happens. You get foods like fried rice, fried chicken, fried fish, the whole nine yards with all that good fried stuff. But the most important reason why outdoor kitchens are used for high heat cooking is simply this: Cook high heat foods inside the house and your furniture is gonna be left smelling like fried chicken or fried rice. And no resident wants that.

I just came across your reaction, and had to laugh at the comments about outdoor kitchens in Canada. I live in SW Ontario, and have been building an outdoor kitchen, including a proper wok burner/station, for a while now.
