A lot of liars come up with multiple solutions to cover all of their bases, but it’s always just a bit too convenient.

Finding out someone you looked up to is actually harming others is… sometimes traumatic. It effects everyone differently but when I was in college, there was an arsonist on campus who we eventually found out was an RA, a leader in the community, a member of many orgs and clubs. For instance, trans people were only legally recognized a few years ago but have existed for CENTURIES, same goes for the non-binary umbrella. Stories from several ancient civilisations contain references to a third or more gender (examples being greek, egyptian, and many first nations stories). Even Hermes technically falls under such an umbrella if you look at several myths from the earliest records involving the greek mythos. Your argument doesn't make much sense considering the historical aspect of non-binary identities and many other queer identities. The argument is primarily used to invalidate trans people and is generally really disrespectful.

Great video as usual! Shannon really let her mask slip and it reminds me a lot of the Jimmy Snow (also known as Dear Mr. Atheist) situation going on right now. I would love to see your take on the Jimmy Snow x Rachel Oates x Gabbie Hanna situation, actually. Jimmy inserted himself into a drama between GH and RO a few months ago involving Rachel reviewing Gabbie’s poetry book. A few days ago Jimmy posted a video addressing his part of the drama (for some reason) and it was not well received by his audience, but honestly none of the comments were particularly harsh. Since then he’s turned off comments and disabled likes and dislikes. He’s banning anyone on his subreddit who brings it up and blocking anyone on Twitter, but not before telling them to “Fuck off”. He’s lost 6,000+ subscribers since posting that video and his fans have created an alternate subreddit r/freelytalkaboutjimmy just to be able to discuss the situation since he’s censoring everyone on every platform.

I used to watch CSA since around 2019 and finally stopped around the time of the Peaches drama. I would watch less and less of her because I didn't enjoy the art style so I would use her for background noise. But she always took so long to tell the story and was always so mad that I couldn't stand it anymore. I used to like her stuff too until I found other commentary channels and realized that I didn't like her content. Now seeing all of this stuff as an ex fan is just disgusting but I'm glad it's out

She tried, they said nothing she had was enough evidence to do anything. Stalking is probably the hardest thing to get police involved in. A lot of victims will apologize and even be nice to their stalkers in order not to escalate anything and the keep themselves safe. Basically the police have to see a body, extreme bodily harm, or ungodly amounts of evidence in order to take real action against online stalking. It’s so sad and so unfortunate for victims who have almost no real protections.
