34:53 they flipped again at 3 because with Tendrils already revealed, the most they can lose is 2 - with no way to be dealt damage, it's the lazier play that still guarantees the win. I've played the deck a bunch in paper, and I pretty much always go ham with the ad naus when there's no possible punish (i.e. no hidden info). I think the only time I've gone slow with all available info was for a value ad naus with 2 spheres in play

On the idea that a Boros colored creature is good, it might be worth considering Haktos, Swiftblade Vindicator or even Tajic, Legion's Edge

The issue is that the Sol lands producing (C)(C) makes casting gold cards awkward, especially those that cost 3 or less. Haktos is basically uncastable, and the other two are just worse than the cards that cost (2)(R), because you can't turbo them out with Ancient Tomb.

I'm not Phil of course, but what I like about this deck is that it's mana + things that can realistically kill the opponent by themselves. That 1) makes it good against control because there's so many must-answer threats and 2) if you use a Chrome Mox and Lotus Petal to power out a threat and have an empty hand afterwards, then at least you have a threat that can kill the opponent. Whereas if you use a Chrome Mox and Lotus Petal to accelerate out an Elite Spellbinder... well, that's not winning the game by itself. And then you're just left with nothing, really. Control decks would also much rather play against a deck that has less must-answer threats and more things that are slightly annoying.

The printing of Forth Eorlingas probably made Winota a less optimal choice, but the deck goldfishes fast enough that it's still a reasonable choice even if it isn't the strongest version of the deck.
