Quick question! How do you determine which alignment technique should be used? Is that via the strong side vs weak side?

Correct. You can do it to the running back, or away from the running back if they are in shotgun. Most teams will use it to a tight end and away from the tight end as well

Close, inside shoulder is 7 (or 6i), head up 6, outside should 9. Hence the phrase "Wide 9" and "Ghost 9"
