0:45 The writer in the Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the place where you are quoting can say PLURAL KRISHNAS for multiple reasons. One is that because in the Maharaas Leelas (which is described in the 10th Canto of the Shrimad Bhagwatam, KRISHNA took upon MULTIPLE forms so he could give the bliss to all of his loving devotees. He also took multiple forms while playing with the GOPIS and doing the leelas such as breaking their pots, stealing their butter, playing flute, while at the same time grazing his cows somewhere else. That is one reason why it says plural Krishnas. Another reason saying plural Krishnas is okay, is that at the end of EACH Dwaapar-yug, there is a descension of Krishna in an "ansh" form, meaning he reveals only less of his Supreme aspect, and then once in many, many Dwaapar-yug, the FULL descension of Krishna appears. That is the Supreme Divine Personality of the Lord. That is the descension which came 5200 years ago. It was the Supreme Divine Personality of the Lord.

Krishna is a mythological character? I have a few questions. 1. What about 300+ testable astronomical observations recorded in Mahabharata? 2. What about the city of Mool Dwarka founded by Krishna, is found under the sea on the coast of Gujrat? Many publication by outside scholars confirming the sudden sea rise in 6th millenium BCE which also submurged the mool dwarka. Now we have scientific discipline of Oceanography confirming the Mahabharta War. 3. If Ram Chandra is mythological, then how come Valmiki Ramayan has 500+ testable astronomical observations? Lakshman talks about Abhijit (Vega) being the north pole star and Agastya (canopus) being south pole star. When that happened? 12,000 BCE , this is easily confirmable evidence just google the canopus and vega being pole stars. Please care to answer before claiming someone to be a mythological figures. 4. Last question, your word god. What is it? Is it Bhagwan? Parmatma? Ishver? Brama? Parbrahma? Brahamn? Parmishver? Devta? Or are the vedic sanskrit words being translated to just God? I mean how do we really know that tens of "literally" "thousands of millennia" ago a particular person existed when history(the written accounts) started only 2600 BCE? This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). 1. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) is called Hindu. Himalya Hi and Indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Read the puran. The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created. 2. Since Dharma evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "tamso ma jyotirgamaya". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent. 3. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time. 4. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Puran, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas. 5. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year. 6. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant. 7. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth . 8. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers. 9. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all. 10. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. This is the reason from Sanatan dharma lots of ism like Jain, Buddha, Sikh, vaishnava Shaiva, Atheism, came out without any conflict or blood shed. Can you imagine the same with Abrahmic religion? 11. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra according to their profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma. To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants. Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally an individual local social environment no support from Dharma 12. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Universe. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru. This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish 13. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. Please look for Surya sidhanta and do some research. Most sikhs today say that we don't worship idols but on the same time. They treat a book as a living guru. It is a form of idolatry. As told my many western indologists. Please look for when were idols removed from Harimandir. If you don't agree with it. I will give you another written fact an FIR report in 1857 where some Nihung sikhs entered the babri masjid and did a Hawan inside it. They also wrote RAM on the walls of the mosque. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). 1. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) is called Hindu. Himalya Hi and Indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Read the puran. The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created. 2. Since Dharma evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "tamso ma jyotirgamaya". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent. 3. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time. 4. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Puran, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas. 5. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year. 6. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant. 7. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth . 8. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers. 9. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all. 10. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma. To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants. Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally an individual local social environment no support from Dharma 12. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Universe. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru. This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish 13. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. In Hinduism, the one and only eternal supreme being is Lord krishna. Krishna is not a demi god. Please understand bhagvat gita. Most of hindus and non hindus doesn't know that Krishna is the one and only supreme God. It was the supreme Lord who created Lord vishnu, brahma and other demi gods. Later it was the Lord who chose to take himself as one of the avatar of Lord Vishnu. I have read many verses of Gurbani. I have read the translation of japji sahib. The explanation about the Supreme Lord (akal purakh vaheguru ji) given by Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji exactly matches with the explanation given about the Supreme Lord (Krishna) in bhagvat gita. A Hindu who reads Gurbani can easily relate the attributes of Waheguru ji to the Lord Krishna and a Sikh who reads bhagvat gita can relate the attributes of Lord Krishna to Waheguru ji. That's the beauty of Hinduism and Sikhism. It can only be understood and relatable only by those who have read and understood bhagvatgita and shri guru grant sahib !! My advice to the sikh brothers, with utmost respect, is dont become like muslims and Christians, just understand what guruji has said said and written, don't try to mould his divine words just suite yourself and satisfy your need of seperate recognition. All the divine gurus were saints of the bhakti movement, and followers of lord vishnu, it even reflects in their names if you just make an attempt to observe it. Even the great golden temple was named 'Hari Mandir Sahib', temple of Hari(vishnu) The hundreds of mentions of ram and hari in guru granth sahib ji is a testimony of what great Guru Nanak ji believed and felt. You can either follow in the footstepa of Guru nanak ji by understanding what he wrote ages ago in HIS 'Granth', or you can listen to these people who try to twist his words to suite their meaning. ||Waheguru|| ||Ram||

This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). 1. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) is called Hindu. Himalya Hi and Indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Read the puran. The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent. 3. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time. 4. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Puran, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas. 5. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year. 6. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant. 7. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth . 8. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers. 9. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all. 10. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. This is the reason from Sanatan dharma lots of ism like Jain, Buddha, Sikh, vaishnava Shaiva, Atheism, came out without any conflict or blood shed. Can you imagine the same with Abrahmic religion? 11. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra according to their profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma. To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants. Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally an individual local social environment no support from Dharma 12. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Universe. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru. This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish 13. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. When Bhagwaan Ram was in the jungles, the great rishis/munis/devotees of Dandakaranya forest wanted to love and accept Ram as their beloved when they saw his beautiful form, but Bhagwaan said that they would have to wait until a future Dwaapar Yug, when he would come in the Krishna form, because in Bhagwaan Ram descension, he came as the Maryada Purush. So they would have to come as Gopis in a future Dwaapar Yug to attain that type and class and relationship of sweet loving bliss. Thus, Naamdevji can say Ram or Krishn - either is fine as it is the same Supreme Lord he is referring to.

Big part of why I converted to sikhi is because I realized sooo many people decide to praise the idol and the mythology instead of understanding that they are meant to be more like a mirror to self reflect and understand what aspect of life they represent. I have nothing against idol worship if it works for you and helps with connection to the supreme then that's great. I used to be an idol worshipper until I came to this realization, but I also understand why it's unnecessary.

In scriptures at various places Krishna is named as naam, ram means who gives pleasure to everyone. You are taking your own meanings from something very clear. No needs of interpretations. Our interpretation is within three modes sat, raj and tam.

Ram isn't seen a as a perfect human, he is known as "maryada purushottam". maryada = CODE OF CONDUCT. Ram is not a perfect man, but a man who is the perfect follower of Dharma/law. dharma here obviously doesn't mean religion, but follower of rules of his station in life. From what i hear, it seems sikhism, at its soul, is more connected to hindu Upanishads (Brahman = atman) than the more anthropomorphic or the avatar versions of vishnu and his interaction with the world through ram and krishna. That is to say Sikhism is closer to Hindu philosophy, than Hindu rituals. also seems closer to shri Adishankarachriya's Advaita vedant (non duality), that was inspired by upanishads. i don't agree on this. krishna himself said he is the utimate god. he is in everything in gita. he descend on earth in various form like narshimbha, ram, kahaniya etc to play leela. krishna ji ka sakar roop hai aur nirakar roop bhi hai jise ham pharbrhman khete hai om kahte hai.
