Not boring at all, it's a nice neutral color and so is Vivs. I think both your jackets turned out great and can go with so many other pieces in your wardrobe. SOOOO HAPPY you stepped out of your comfort zone and did the welt pockets. They turned out GREAT!! Your top stitching looks so good.

Hi Karina, what did you say about the pattern instructions (18:54)? - sorry couldn't quite understand what you said about them. Amazing jacket!
@LiftingPinsandNeedles
@LiftingPinsandNeedles 5 жыл бұрын
The instructions are “small”. They come in one page in a list format. Similar to Burdastyle. I don’t mind because the notches help put the pieces together easily. There is a lot of information on the pattern pieces making it easy to put together.

@LiftingPinsandNeedles
@LiftingPinsandNeedles 4 жыл бұрын
They are very different. This is for stretch denim. I like them both for their features and shaping by this brand is actually for advanced sewists due to their minimal instructions. Also, this one doesn’t have cup sizes.... I’m fortunate to fit well into this block, but others might not.
@francespoff4316
@francespoff4316 4 жыл бұрын
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles Thanks Karina! I was also thinking perhaps the Athena is a little more forgiving for those of us without such a nipped in waist like yours, might have to take a chance and purchase the ITS pattern!

Hi Karina, I'm fairly new to your channel, and I'm enjoying your videos so much. You're fun, sewing /fabric savvy, and it's really great that you've learned your body and attractive styles well. You know what looks good on you, and you don't settle for less than what you want. Period .. LOL. Good lesson. Everything you make looks great on you. This is my very fave video so far>>> bias binding gold: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYCtfpdmdpWCisU I'm sharing it with all my sewing friends. It's so helpful. You did a great job clearly showing all the steps, and the results are inarguable and awesome. I'm on the hunt for satin bias binding, but I'm sure I'll not find the awesome deals you got in the textile market .. what a fantastic bargain. I love the music that's playing in THIS Cindy video at the 13:12 burrito sewing mark. I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know the artist and song. Thanks a million .. looking forward to all the next sewing adventures.

Thank you so much 😊 for all your kind words and you have me figured out too! The song is just a free one from the KZbin database and it’s called “moist”. No mention of artist there 🤷🏻‍♀️. Thanks for watching 😊.
