The one thing i have come to the conclusion of with KZbin, the bigger you get the more morons you attract, that probably don't sit and watch the whole thing, they just scroll through looking for negatives, Premier League player, he's too big, non league, he's not good enough. Keep doing what you are doing lads, fans of the channel love what you do, patreons do. Watched every video you have put out over the years, think there has been 2 or 3 I have found dull, and that's usually down to the guest (cough Blackmore) Bring Troy Deeney in the room 😃

Every single interview with Deeney is the same. I get the sense that he's quite an insecure guy because he only ever bigs himself up at every opportunity. Every question turns into how either how great a guy, how good he was or how tough he is. Its a constant stream of alpha male, egomania. There's no doubt he makes for a good interview, but there seems to be very little humility or modesty, which becomes tiring to listen to after a while.

@dperson9212 Ай бұрын
@@roycropper698 he does, hence his appearances on every podcast going....im guilty of having seen a few of them and they all follow the same pattern, "me, me, me, me, me". I know he's the guest and its about him, but usually you get anecdotes involving other people, or they may ask questions to others, but Deeney is so self absorbed, there is none of that. Every story is about what he has done, he's the centre of every one. He doesn't conversate, he just talks about himself.

Really good stories and achieved a lot in his career, but a few Harry Redknapp style adjustments in there. For example, getting booked 30 seconds into his prem debut for smashing Stones isn't true, it was in the 42nd minute for smashing Galloway (shocking tackle). Then he speaks about Quique resting him against Spurs and putting him on when they were 4-0 down, not true - 1-0 loss. The game Mazzarri dropped him, he played 20 minutes not 1 minute. I guess it's a case of "don't let the truth get in the way of a good story".

01:40:30 they say Dabo was one kick away from being a premier league player, believe me, he was getting released, putting him on for Norton-Cuffy hadn't worked all season, and that game was no different. Only looked half-decent when we were pasting teams, if he had to dig deep he never showed any interest. I don't blame him for that pen, but the season where we won league one was the only decent season he had with us.

Love the channel, yes you're right about Terry gibson episode. Great character and made a quality partnership with Sanchez. I know you guys would rather keep it clean but Deeney talking about Watford getting relegated during covid season got me thinking. It would be good if you asked questions to players that were playing in this period that are now retired. Questions like, what was the uptake on vaccines amongst the players? What were super-fit athletes responses to forced medical overreach by governments? Players connected to Luton Town and Tom Lockyer, what are their thoughts on his multiple collapses and newly acquired diagnosis of atrial fibrillation after 1st collapse? What about fans collapsing in stadiums? Increases in heart-related issues in footballers - Eriksen, Charlie Wyke, Colby Bishop only recently had heart surgery, just to name a few, there's tonnes out there. These are questions I'd love to see people like Deeney answer, so next time you've got some brutally honest footballers on then ask the brutally honest questions! I reckon your channel would blow up even further with these lines of inquiry to guests. I'm sure you will have seen how much Matt le Tissier has been chastised for talking about these things and will probably act as a deterrent, but to be fair, he's only asking for questions to be raised and answers to be given that are supported with figures! I would most definitely be interested to hear what Troy Deeney had to say about all of the above, as I'd 100% respect his opinion on it. Cheers
