Great cooking! I remember, as a child growing up in Osu, my grandmother( from Adaa) cooked this dish we call Akpledzii once a week using Palm oil and is one of my favourites local dishes. Here in Canada, I use the yellow corn meal without first toasting. Will try toasting the cornmeal, from now on. Happy memories! Thanks! 🙏

I really love this food but there's another way of preparing it which is more delicious than this. We blend dry coconut and use the coconut milk in place of the water she added to the stew . In this case u don't boil the crab separately u boil it direct with the stew and when it's done u take it out then u add the coconut milk before the cornflour. Sooooooo delicious😋✨

Oh I miss my mum's cooking now. The original dzenkple recipe By the way, they is another version of dzenkple but from the Oti region. It's made with beans and palm oil but same method as Davi Felicia use!
