Nice! Just started playing around with the custom data in the particle system. Didn't know you could do that until yesterday! Good pace on this tutorial. Really liked the approach to making the ground mark sprites too. Off to fix mine from a previous attemp at this style of explosion. Cheers buddy!

there's something wrong here, I have the same problem with the sphere not properly lit , I tried many test with custom UV and ... still not the same result ( you didn't explain you fbx export preset for y up ,z up and the apply transform button (this will change totally the export in unity ) , anyway I don't understand how you can achieve a fresnel effect on a sphere with lighing only one side of it . :(

When I create a unlit shader graph it doesnt make a "unlit master" node but rather a "vertex" node, and following all your steps precisely i get a purple sphere, as if the color doesnt apply... any idea how to fix this?

@@wuzzywizard the package for the unlit master graph is not installed by default, i installed it from the package manger via "Universal RP", any info on that? i really want to get it working but dont know why its not working like yours

It might be a version (shader graph)problem, i have used it on many different unity versions so that should not be the cause

In case more people like me are having this problem and are looking through the comments: after adding the shader to the material, the color can only be changed in the material. Changing it in the shader won't do anything.

The yellow highlight that you have seems to disappear in linear style going from the bottom of all of the objects to the top. Do you know why it would be like that?

Yes, if u mean in our own project its probably because u didnt make the custom uv for the sphere

@@wuzzywizard Hi, I'm having a similar problem. With rotated UVs it coes buttom to top, without it just goes side to side. Neither one looks like what you have
so one year after this question I have an answer lol Try to rotate the sphere in your 3D software (in my case its maya, the cut faces the left view and what is supposed to be the top part of the sphere is now on the side, its not very clear but youll get it)

My Explosion doesnt glow..... it is just yellow and black :-(
