From a Pure Scouser. I remember bein at home at 9 years of age this night. We’d won the cup, best team in the land! We only had to not lose by “2”…. Say it again “TWO” clear goals. Nobody done tha to us then!!!!! Arsenal did tha night, an guess what? They DESERVED it 100%. It’s fractions in football. They make all the difference❤️ From a true LIVERPOOL supporter 💔❤️💪

I think Liverpool approached the match all wrong, their attitude leading up to the match was even if we lose 2-1 , 1-0, or 3-2 we would still win the title, if they played to win they may well have won the match.

Liverpool supporters. Always moaning. The documentary does cover the tragedy in length and you’ll see it affected both sets of players. As for this match, it was at Anfield and all they needed to do was not lose by 2 goals and were favorites to do just that. Hope you have the same energy for Munich.

Liverpool were scoring goals for fun a week earlier - 5-1 against West Ham. Don't say they were knackered, this was almost a full week after extra time at Wembley. They played it safe by not playing their normal game and attacking Arsenal which they should have been doing at home. I don't believe Lukic made a save all night. Arsenal deserved the win - A Liverpool fan

@davidmurray5926 name a better achievement? For me, the only one that comes close to it is Leicester City winning the title. Arsenal's achievement was a one-off game against the greatest team of that generation, with a team that was a bunch of kids thrown together. Considering what had transpired that season, all the country was emotionally against Arsenal......and didn't give them a chance. They did it...... I know Manchester City scored a goal to win the title, but it was against QPR. We have our own opinions.......which is what makes football so special.
