I don’t like the unlimited benefit, but if I had it I would just make track an imaginary bank and make sure I always took 3 to 4 weeks a year

As a sexual minority (solosexual/asexual), unlimited vacation time is code-word for, you have to fill in unlimited for your colleagues who want to tend to their children or spend time with their partners.

Unlimited PTO is mainly a benefit for new hires because seasoned employees get probably around 5+ weeks of PTO a year anyway but new employees only get the 3 max so by giving unlimited PTO to everyone that means everyone is able to take the 5+ not just the seasoned employees.
