Very good information in this video. I am planning to travel around Europe for about 3-4 months and have been researching on EuRail pass for the past week. Luckily, they have a sale going on for 15% off before March 12. I never heard of Google Fi until just now watching your video. I was researching some esims to use in Europe, so I will compare the Google Fi with them.

Google Fi has time limit so double check that since you're going to be ooc for 4 months. Some countries like Belgium won't give out prepaid sim cards to non residents. I'm actually curious what you will end up doing for a 4 month phone plan. Please let me know too! Thank you!

@@TrackOurJourney The first video I ended up watching showed the limitations of Google Fi. Being that they want you to mainly use it when in the U.S. They limit you to 90 days of consecutive use abroad it seems. Even where you cannot manage your plan if you're not in the U.S.. I am currently living in Thailand, so looks like I will look for alternatives like global esims from Airalo, Flexiroam, or Holafly.

Do trains have battery chargers?

depends, not all trains have outlets. I always bring a portable battery pack just in case.

Interesting, except from when visiting London a couple of times, I haven’t traveled with trains for over 20 years. I’m not sure how to buy a train ticket here in Sweden 😂. They have taken away most of those people selling tickets at the station, so you have to book everything online and have no personal to ask. 🤔

I agree. almost everything is automated now and often times, the automated help isn't complete or doesn't have all the options. sometimes when there's an issue it's nice to talk to an actual person.

@@TrackOurJourney When I was in London I used the “Underground” a lot (Mind the gap between train and the platform🤩) And one thing that I appreciated was the people that worked to help people. Always people to ask when you needed help👍 And also so much easier to travel under the ground then over the ground. In Edinburgh I hade to go by bus and I sometimes waited at the wrong side of the road and nearly took the bus in wrong direction. I also struggling when crossing roads when walking. I looked to the left when entering the “zebra crossing” so it took some time to get used to the traffic even as a pedestrian 🤔

crossing the streets also confuse me sometimes so I just end up always looking everywhere/both ways no matter what country 😂. I did have good experience with very helpful people in London and Scotland when using the railways. it's very nice since they help me not get lost haha. I've had that problem as well with taking the wrong bus because I waited on the wrong side of the street. I have gotten into the habit of asking the driver where the bus is going and where I am going and I am glad I ask haha.

It depends, I have used local sim cards because international plans sometimes weren't very good.
