Welcome to our Parkinson's arm movement series! In this video, we're excited to share six empowering arm exercises, specially crafted to help Parkinson's patients improve mobility, flexibility and strength in their upper body.
Large movement exercises are crucial for Parkinson's patients with rigidity, bradykinesia, and tremors as they stretch muscles, improve flexibility, and temporarily stimulate dopamine release, potentially improving motor control and mobility challenges. These exercises aid neuroplasticity, balance, posture, and gait, addressing specific motor difficulties.
In this video, I will guide you through each movement, ensuring you perform the exercises safely and effectively. Whether you're looking to regain control over your arm movements, reduce tremors or shaking or simply seeking to maintain flexibility, this video is tailored to suit your needs!
🔴 Arm Movement Highlights:
1. Overhead Reaches: Stretch both arms towards the sky, engaging your shoulders and opening up your chest.
2. Arm Circles: Loosen up your shoulders and improve mobility with gentle, controlled circles.
3. Arm Swings: Swing both arms out to the sides, promoting flexibility in your shoulders and enhancing circulation.
4. Forward Arm Extensions: Extend your arms and body forward, encouraging full range of motion and strengthening your arm muscles.
5. Jabs or front punching: Strengthen your arm by alternately punching forward wuickly.
6. Arm Cross Body Reach: Reach one arm across your body, feeling the stretch through your shoulders and upper back.
Remember, each exercise is designed to bring joy and comfort to your movements while promoting gradual progress. Always listen to your body and gradually increase the intensity and number of reps.

Dynamic arms ✅ My husband is doing your videos. He’s was diagnosed in 2008. He’s done some exercises over the years. He hasn’t wanted to do any exercises for the last 6 years. I showed him one of your videos and he said I’ll do his workouts. He’s now done one of your videos(variety) once a day for a month. Yesterday he did three. Thank you so much!!🎉
