3:37 you can do it by holding the stop clip buttom on the bottom right while pressing any track/loop that you want to stop

On the row where the scenes launch, to stop playback you need to press the first empty pad to the right of the last lighted pad on that row to stop playback. Hope it helps.

@@_TheModernCreative Yeah; it was really lacking, when the support dropped. Look for the Logic Pro X Control Surfaces Guide; it includes the Launchpads. Should give you what you need.

I'm having some trouble connecting my launchpad pro mk1 to logic 10.6.1 , I tried the launchpad pro firmware updater but its stuck on "Checking firmware version" , any advice? ps. Im running Big Sur 11.1

Let's start from the beginning. Unplug all usb devices and then try again. If this does not work, we can go into Control Surfaces in Logic. LMK brother.

Could anyone help me, i am terrible with this sort of stuff. I have a launchpad mk 2, the thing is plugged straight in to the macbook. when i open up a tutorial lets say, the launchpad lights up and shows the correct sequence or samples, but it literally will not play them. any advice would help. thanks.

Hey Shaun. There are 2 Modes that are occurring. The first is a LOGIC LIVE LOOPS mode that interacts with the Live Loops if there are any. The other "mode" is User Mode. You can go into the various menus of the Launchpad and access scales and other great features. I should make a video on this at some point. Let me know if you can access the USER MODE. I think you have to hit the DOWN ARROW menu. Keep me posted.

@@_TheModernCreative subscribed bro. Hopefully you guide me in the right direction. I want to get a live set up going. With triggering one shots and stuff with the launchpad. Im playing guitar and sax and have them running through it id just like to bring in some drum loops and maybe one shot synth sounds. That's the plan. Cheers bro!

Well kind of....As the hardware starts to age, the technology in our desktop and laptops can no longer accommodate the software updates and so if we want to keep up we have to purchase another system and so in this way they are not really free. There’s also another argument which is the updates can cause a lot of problems so a lot of producers and Composer choose to stay a couple of versions behind. I personally always stay one version behind. Thx @theanathema stay up!!!
