Thank you so much for this video! Lately, I have not been motivated to workout and keep at my healing routine - your essentials. This video is the spark I needed to get back at the weights, cardio and healthy eating. It is a journey with ups and downs. Thank you.

Love your videos and your dedication Steve. Unfortunately have an open-minded doctor and wonder what the name of the remyelination drug you discussed is. Thanks and God bless you

Clemastine Fumarate is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms, but after studies performed at the University of Cambridge, there is evidence it activates remyelination as well. Here is a video by a neurologist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imfTZphoiciFb7Msi=MBVed1z0quMFfr27

Have you looked into MS being linked to infections, be it fungal, viral, or parasitical? I don't mean large parasites in the gut causing digestive issues. I mean microscopic intracellular parasites, or parasites in the CNS,. Very interesting. I think all people with MS should treat 'silent' infections.
@SteveSolvesMS5 ай бұрын
You sound like something out of the 1990s! Since then, there has been extensive research and countless double-blind studies that show a correlation between infection and MS. That said, it has been proven that the Epstein-Barr virus is needed to develop MS, but that evidence stipulates that "EBV is needed in addition to genetics and lifestyle factors." What EBV does is infect B cells in the CNS. So while most people who contract EBV as a teenager get sick for a week, in people with MS, EBV is one factor that triggers MS. Now I have killed all my B cells taking the drug Ocrevus every 6 months. But is MS gone? Absolutely not!

@@SteveSolvesMS I sound like something out of the 90s? What's that supposed to mean? I'm well aware of EBV 's correlation to MS, but I wasn't only talking about viral infections. I also mentioned fungal and parasitical infections in my comment which you didn't address. Are you familiar with Dr. Alan MacDonald's findings on parasites?
@SteveSolvesMS5 ай бұрын
I'm sorry, I don't want to discount what you said. In the 1990s and early 2000s, there was a lot of research done into fungal and parasitical infections. No evidence was found while the evidence of it being auto-immune grew. Thats why disease-modifying therapies show effectiveness. I'm not familiar with Dr. Alan MacDonald. But there have been countless other doctors who have come and gone claiming fungus and parasites over the past 20 years with no meaningful evidence to show.
@ldjt61845 ай бұрын
@@SteveSolvesMS Yes Steve, you're completely discounting what I'm saying. No, there have not been "countless other doctors who've looked into fungus and parasites over the past 20 years with no meaningful evidence to show." You can't be serious. Swallow your pride.

Hi again Steve and thanks for all the great information I had mono when I was a kid and still have Epstein-Barr present. With regards to saturated fats and using coconut butter to help remyelination would GHEE clarified butter also be an appropriate saturated fat? You are looking great and I am striving to get better with you. Thanks again and God bless

I don't, like you and most people with MS, there is nothing. I fought through the fatigue doing my essential elements.

L-acetyl carnitine (not l-carnitine). Look into it and give it a try, it helps me a lot.
